Investigating a rising pillar of smoke, a scouting party for a barbarian tribe found Asia when she was only a child of 2-3 years. Her traveling party had been attacked and slaughtered. Only the quick thinking of her Mother to hide her nearby saved her. The scouts found her while searching the area surrounding the wrecked caravan. Not wanting to leave the small child with no means to survive or fend for herself they took her back. Though not normally tolorent of outsiders, the tribe agreed the scouts made the appropriate choice. She was adopted by the village located in the Tienshen mountain range, known to the rest of Naeldor as the Barren Peaks. Spending a few years at a time with different families within the tribe gave her well rounded abilites and knowledge. Her most productive years were spent with the tribe's Shaman. The Shaman noticed her natural ability with the wild animals around the village. He started to teach her his magic of the land. She was quick to learn and soon far exceeded his own abilities and earned a place of importance within the tribe. Though not of their race, she was one of there own and would have some day taken over as the tribe's Shaman. Though happy with her position and the true friendship she had been blessed with by her tribe, she knew she did not belong. Though heartbreaking to leave her adopted family and her friends, she struck out on her own. She needed to find her own identity to compliment the values and ideas she was raised with by the barbarians. The thought of adventure and travel excited her. She had never left the village except on short excursions within the region. The rest of the world was new to her. So she wanders, not always alone, for her animal companions are never far, but looking to meet new friends to wander with. So she headed south along the long road connecting the land. She would make her way to Spectaro.
