Trentas Heartwarder
Trentas Heartwarder, a 23 year old, male paladin of Sune. Incredibly handsome, dark hair, blue eyes, he was earmarked by a local priestess of Sune as a child..of course in turn, the young boy was smitten with the priestess. The priestess later approached Trentas' parents...she offered them a small a small amount of gold and some flattering cloths and scents..in Amn this was a fortune as any, and being city folk who didn't need a child to help with farming, they consented with their blessings. Trentas was happy to join the priestess and the Sunites who worshipped in a temple in Amn, smitten as he was. Trentas was a vigorous young boy, not only excelling in dancing, but in combat as well, thinking it a fine way to further develop his physique in appreciation of Sune. Seeing how Trentas's gifts were perhaps not in the lay ministry with Sune and adding to that, that he had a strong belief in establishing the place of beauty in the world, paladinhood, the Sunites decided, was his calling and they stepped up his training in that regard. Sune looked upon this with favor as she accepted him into her more adventuresome order of paladin’s and clerics, also affectionately known as Heartwarders.
Trentas himself does not favor much the usual paladin stodginess so endeared to Paladin’s of Tyr, Helm and the like..rather his personal mandate relies upon the belief that there is beauty in everything. To him, those not blessed with comely skin or fair looks are beautiful in other ways, perhaps in poetry or dancing. True, not many paladins take hour long, rose-scented baths, spray themselves with scented perfume, or offer to knead the sore muscles of female companion, but it would be folly to think that Trentas would be harmless in combat…he has devoted himself to keeping himself in the best fighting shape possible, not only as a tribute to Sune, but to stamp out ugliness and evil in Faerun wherever it may have taken root…combined with the holy powers conferred to him from Lady Firehair, he is a force to be reckoned with.
