Chancellor Ladwin Sparcer is a man who takes a great deal of pride in his position, perhaps too much, but as he’ll tell you, war, religion, politics – it all comes down to money in the end. A stooped, stick-thin man in his forties, but he seems older than that, gaunt of face and prematurely grey. His evasive and fidgety manner – not to mention his various exaggerated mannerisms - have been known to frustrate many people trying to have a frank conversation with him.
