Standing over 6 feet tall and broad of shoulder, this plainsman of the Lion Tribe has just past his manhood trial. Dark Cloud's has had more exposure to more civilized ways than most of his tribe. This is due mainly to the numerous encounters with fur traders and caravans. At a young age Dark Cloud's father (an elder) chose his son to accompany him on a caravan headed for Whitecliff to open a fur trading shop. There Dark Cloud's appetite was wetted for the more civilized refinements such as Halfling Elderberry Wine and Chain-linked armor. With his father's permission he was taught some of the basics of civilized fighting styles by a retired solder. His father though, saw other changes, unwelcome changes in his son that soft city living was causing. Packing up his fur trading shop he abruptly left Hillsfar for the open plains, leaving after only one brief season of trading.
