After losing many of his kinsmen during the battle for Citadel Felbarr, now heeding more closely than ever the call of Clangeddin Silverbeard, Balin bowed to take up the axe against all enemies of the dwarves. To fight them wherever they stand, not wait for them to attack the dwarven holds. With citadel Felbarr now more or less secure, Balin travels the North, aiding those who would heed the words of the Lord of Twin Axes: valor, bravery, and honor in battle.
