Viola never fit in at home. Instead of gardening, she preferred reading books. Instead of staying at home and avoiding tall folk, she liked to talk to strangers, especially mages. From the time she remembers, she dreamed of studying wizardry and visiting great libraries. Her parents finally had enough of her wrong-headedness when she came home with a faerie dragon in tow.
