Ryuu is a young man of average height and build who might seem an unremarkable if he was not wearing the dark robes of the Monastery of Four Paths. There are many stories of monks from the order performing superhuman feats of speed, strength and endurance, but few will have actually seen such displays. The years of training have given the monk great skills and also an arresting wisdom, unusual in one so young. Like many monks leaving the monastery Ryuu has taken up work as a bodyguard to the rich and powerful. He may be seen as more of a status symbol than a protector by his new employer. But Ryuu goes about his new vocation as he did his monastery teachings, with absolute dedication.
