Borin's parents both died when he was very young. Often adventurers story start when parents die during great attacks or as a result of an act of evil. Boran's beginings were nothing so grand. His mother died when he was three during childbirth. His younger sister didn't survive either. His father died of the plague a year later leaving Boran without family.
