The daughter of a forbidden love between a noble woman who fell in love with a low born space captain. Seeking to hide the shame this brought to his family her mother's father had the captain assasinated and sought the same for his granddaughter. In order to keep her safe her mother entrusted her safety to a poor but honourable engineer, whose barren wife desperately wanted a child. Raised in this loving home she caught the eye of an unscrupulous old interplanetary black market dealer and is now on the run from this man who wished to take her for his own. Forced to keep moving she trades her skills travelling the black. That is if you can believe a word she says.
