Stag

Physical description:

A large man heavily muscled but holding a well balanced stance, showing an unusual grace for his stature. A shaved head bearing a top knot denotes a warrior born. His face is rugged and hard and though by no means hansome his steel grey eyes often dance with amusement, his frequent smile softening his feature showing his ready good humor.

History:

Born in the city of Sheboshar the son of a blackamith, Jeb Rift and a fletcher Alissa Rift, Stag (not his given name) grew with stories of adventure and travel told nightly by his mother, soon coming to realize they were no mere fabrication but the history of his mother and father. His father a warrior his mother a ranger met and travelled many years together before finally settleing in sheboshar, marrying and useing their savings to open a forge. Stag was raised well and to give proper respect to the gods, on his mothers side Cherol and Deeproot, his fathers Finishi and Greeless. Both of them however turned often to Chitai and this god, the god of luck held the strongest sway with Stag.

Jeb his father placed strong values on a man being able to take care of himself and to this ends Stag was presented with his first true sword at age six, no toy this sword was crafted to his size by his father. From that day forth daily sword practice with his father became routine each year upon his birthday being given a new sword as he grew bigger.

A happy childhood passed learning the sword and his fathers skills in the forge. As he grew though dreams of greater things grew in his heart, instilled by his mothers stories of adventure till as he became a young man his wanderlust could no longer be denied. Taking his parents blessings, a small sack of gold and the last,a long sword crafted by his father; his finest work ever, Stag set forward to find his destiny. Leaving his given name (Jake Rift) behind he took the name of Stag.. inspired by a story told by his mother of the white stag who brings luck and fortune to those who see and follow it.
