Played AD&D through the Unearthed Arcana era of the game, in the Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms settings, primarily as a DM for one or two players.
Enjoyed creating city/town-based adventures with lots of politics, factions and secret organizations and intrique and epic quests. Gygax's Gord the Rouge series, the Drizzt Books and Fritz Leiber's Lankhmar series were all big influences.
As a player in the HoyaSaxa Campaign, expect complete immersive roleplay, problem solving, character development (pcs and npcs will all have different motivations, sometimes at odds with other pcs), factions and lots of shades of grey (rather than simply good guys on a quest versus monsters).
The bulk of my time is spent running the HoyaSaxa Campaign. I also monitor the Abolsute Roleplay Guild and try to play when I can.
If I'm a player in someone else's campaign I'll play my character according to his particular characteristics.
