I've played RPG's in one form or another for over 20 years now, and am at a stage where all I look for in a game is the plot ( especially behind the scenes activity ), and well played characters. I look at combat as a sideshow, a tool to be used to keep people on their toes. Also, in my opinion a character's background should be learned by his comrades during gameplay, and not given up front.
