Never having played RPGs as a child, Momus' first taste of the PnP experience as a young adult was eye-opening, titillating, and all too brief. Not enough players, not enough time, and not enough personal experience to lead a group alone, Momus turned to the rapidly growing world of CRPGs. The glorious opportunity to play in a fully realized world, with virtual companions brought many hours of joy, but something was missing. Though the stories were well written, and the puzzles complex, the desire to have a hand in the creation of the experience went unfullfilled. Momus' hope to create and share experiences with fellow adventurers lies in the online play of Neverwinter Nights. For now...
As a player, I am dedicated, inquisitive, and creative. Above all else, I think gaming should be fun and it gives me great pleasure to know that others have fun playing with me. I have little experience with true Role-Playing, so in the grand tradition dictated by CRPGs, I most often play Good characters, simply because CRPGs present little to no benefit for playing characters of other alignments. I look forward, however, to exploring many different styles of play, so I might seem a little schizophrenic until I figure out what's best for me. I also have an interest in DMing, though no real idea of what's involved.
