I've been playing NWN for a few months now. I still have yet to finish the game itself, but I just can't seem to get away from the PW Servers. I haven't played any P&P what-so-ever, so my knowledge of Faerun is lacking. I read the article on "LadyRolePlay" and I aspire to be amongst her ranks. I've started studying on some of the D&D aspects, as well. For instance, character handbooks, and what is available on the NWN website. (not much) I love the idea of roleplay, but wasn't blessed with any knowledge of friends who played D&D so that I might get involved. The Playstation Generation... I gave up the game pad a couple years ago though, so don't worry. I'm quite computer savvy. Though, I met one person a year ago and I started to create maps with him. We just never went through with acctually playing. I think thats acctually the time NWN came about. heh.. So, yeah.. In a nutshell I prefer RP over H&S. That doesn't mean I'm not a good H&S'er though. =p Whether you're a DM or a PC, any sort of advice/help would be appreciated so I could expand my resources and become just that much better in RP.
