So here’s the story:
I'm a 23 year old medical student from Canada. I've played RPGs since I was 6, and have played NWN pretty constantly since it came out. Keeping my characters alive in combat isn't a problem, but I prefer more RPing. My favourite characters are usually rogues, as I like to play more of a cunning-sneaky type, but I can play just about any class well (except for wizard-types; just too bookish for me). This first paragraph is serious.
I played in a group earlier last year (not through NWN connections), but had to leave due to time constraints a couple of months in. I’m looking for a strong story-driven module, with time for character development, and using our natural wits to determine our characters’ more intellectual abilities (rather than a dice roll as some have chosen). I’d prefer to play with more mature, experienced players, but since I haven’t used NWN connections yet, I’m pretty flexible. This second paragraph is also serious.
Oh, and like many of the other people here, I write (plays, poetry, and fiction, not fantasy), and I promise not to impose it on anyone I play with, unless struck by an overwhelming urge to serenade that hot half-orc beauty with my best interpretation of a dire badger mating dance. I’m pretty familiar with the D+D universe, and as long as I’m not tested on it, I’ll claim to know any piece of errata you can imagine. This last paragraph is not serious.
Seriously, I’ve got some more free time now, and can commit to a group. That’s it. Good-bye.
