I'm a 36 year old husband and a father of three. I've been playing RPG's since I was in the 3rd grade(granted not very well at that age). My father got me into computers ever since there were PC's, so I started my CRPG's with the Wizardry and Ultima games. I've played many CRPG's and adventure games since then. I actually took a break from CRPG's for some time until the Baldur's Gate game came out and man, was I hooked! I played all of the Infinite Engine games and even several mods to those games but all the while I was waiting for NWN.
I must say that I am a little upset with Bioware for making a game that pretty much ruined all other games. No other game allows for the level of role playing that this one does. So no other game really holds my interest anymore. Even when I played the PNP games, and I played all the ones that I knew existed, they never had the same intensity that NWN does. I mean, it's easy to joke around when you're going to grab a snack during the PNP downtime, but in NWN you barely have time to go to the bathroom.
I have been DMing now for some time. I am part of the GhoD SMaCK team, which is a team of builders, scripters, DMs, and writers. Our current project is “The Blood” campaign, which is an epic campaign in the custom built world of Riordan.
I have never experienced anything like the Neverwinter connections community before. I have made many great friends through this game and website. The best gaming moments of my life have been playing/host/DMing NWN on this website.
