Playing NWN online: since January 2003
I played on a Persistent World but I was looking for something like "scheduled DM events",..and finally I found what I was looking for... the NeverwinterConnections!!! :)
It is just great! If you have a few hours to play on i.e. saturday? Just have a look at NWC and apply to a one-shot:) (If your not in a campaign already :)
Since my first game on NWC, it was clear... I will play trough NWC for lifetime!:)
DMing style: I provide what is my playstyle:
My playstyle: I like to play in a "freeform style", thinking outside the box / engine and to roll skill checks.
*I like "PnP-NWN" and "build-as-we-go"-Campaigns!
*The DM should support actions like *climb up the wall* and *throws a stone to distract the guards*
*No scripted NPC conversations (DM possesed only!)
*WALK around, just run when it fits to the actually situation.
*Stay with the group/party
*party resting (when it is safe ;)
*Scout(s) should return to party to relay findings to group.
*avoid OOC
*have a _lot_ of FUN
PRO:
I want to have FUN when I play and not to molest other players!
CONTRA:
I am swiss and not a native english speaker, so I am using a dictionary application when I play with others. So, sometimes it will take a moment until I will answer. (When I have to translate a difficult word;)
My first game @NWC: It was just amazing to play with a three-people DM team that DMed on-the-fly!! Thanks to Arawen,gonesailing and whistler :)
