Most Magicians in my opinion are dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants, metaphorically speaking. Few magicians have any true understanding of the mechanisms they are working with; the Golden Age of magical research and development is long past, and modern spell-users are technicians rather than creators. For all that, there are wizards with the knowledge of some truly devastating magic, and the fact that they did not actually invent the spell they could use to obliterate an entire city is of little relevance to their potential victims…Hogan the White, Proud Member of The Castle and Crusade Society since 1974.
After 30 years of playing D&D.(30 plus years as a wargamer) I’ve realized recently that I don't know half as much as I thought I did about this game. Sure the rules have changed, and I play more online then on the table, but life changes and so do our games. It’s on me to move with the pack or get left in the dust. I love this game in all its forms, and I salute everyone out there that helps keep this genre alive and well.
I have just finished my first NWN Module. "The Road to Victory" and have enticed all my PnP players of some years, to play test the campaign prior to its release to the vault.
Hoyasaxa has a long running Campaign with a great bunch of role-players, that I'm privileged at the chance to Co-DM with.
As well as playing and Co-DMing in Romes, “Tales of the Celts Campaign”. I’ve learned a lot dude thanks,It keeps getting better and better.
I'm also a DM on the 'Realms of Annakolia' server. Which can be found at gamespy under roleplay. Check out the Player Community and Forums Realms of Annakolia, or you can join the Annakolian Knights guild.
