A long time fan of PnP DnD, I now just get to indulge my passion online (the only way possible when one also has a RL family to keep sane!).
I haven't DMed for 12 years in PnP, but now do it regularly in NWN, which engenders a whole new experience and permits some very fun "experiments" and a vast and varied realm of roleplaying NPCs of all characterizations.
As a player, I like very much to roleplay "in character" (often against my RL personality!), with a nice balance of considered conversation, thinking, and, well, a bit of hack'n'slash too.
