Since then I've been an on again off again avid crpg player, and over the past few years have become addicted to and then sick of the limitations of the usual mmorpg's out there.

I've been a fantasy/scifi fan forever, in most mediums, and also into writing, oral storytelling, and various arts and crafts, with only some dabbling long ago in acting, but I hope to bring bits of all to some real roleplay, as I learn that as a new "art form", or mainly just recreational good fun....

Crazy dream: to someday apply NWN's Aurora toolset and engine to throwing together some experimental prototypes for a project oriented toward using multimedia and multimodal means to empower learning in various subjects.... for any Neal Stephenson fans sort of a cross between the "Street" of Snow Crash and the "Primer" of Diamond Age, with a bit more of a fantasy theme with suspense/thriller aspects... told you it was crazy....

I've dabbled with ideas and some actual products of building, and marvelled at all the user-created tools and custom content available, mostly toward that project mentioned above.

But I'd also like to eventually get into DM'ing just for the fun of it as well, or rather for everyone's fun (and the insanely enjoyable challenging work involved in actually doing the dm job), and by that I mean totally aside from the above mentioned project, and possibly building and eventually scripting of just-for-kicks awesomely crafted pieces as well....

Give me a few years and maybe I'll actually get around to that, or at least getting involved in teams already doing that, which seem to be proliferating like rabbits with fangs....

For now I just hope to be able to find the time between dayjob and some studies for better dayjob, to just create a decent character or two, or twenty....
