I had never roleplayed before I joined NWC (November 2003) but I must say I have taken to it like a duck to water.
Before NWN the closest to D&D style I played was Diablo and Dungeon Siege on LANs where it was just pure Hack N Slash. I never even gave any consideration to Roleplaying. I started playing NWN in Summer 2003 and havent stopped since, I cant get enough of it.
After getting access to broadband I decided to play online. I came straight here (having seen it advertised on NWN Vault) and signed up for my first session, which I am still a part of. In my short time here I have learned much from those I have played with.
I have always had good imagination and creativity, and feel I could convincingly roleplay and of my many characters.
Of course I'm still always up for some good old fashioned "be yourself" hack n slash action (particularly in LANs).
Rating myself on H&S vs RP, i'll stay in the middle cause I enjoy both equaly.
*Update 2007* Well its been a long time from I've been on here, what with University and all. Currently in my final year and am eager to get back to RPing again. Played in 3 scheduled games when I started, one of which lasted over a year! Would love to renew old ties and maybe join some NWN2 games.
