Hail and Well Met, fellow adventurers! Let me introduce myself to you. I am Ceissa Desiste, Halfling Warrior/Fighter. I was born a long time ago in the city of Rivervale in the lands of Norrath. My parents were Cedric and Lissa Desiste and I am their only child. My parents were killed in battle during an invasion of my beloved city Rivervale by the vile Goblins. Once the battle dust had cleared and I was found hidden in the cellar of our home, I was taken in by a neighboring family by the surname of Ondahedd. With this new life I also gained a sister named Boppitt and two wonderful adoptive parents that loved me as if I was their own child. As I grew older, stronger and wiser I decided to follow in my father’s footsteps and become a warrior. In some lands female warriors are frowned upon, but I was determined to prove my worth. So I packed up my gear and started out on my adventures as a warrior. Throughout my journeys I have slayed creatures in the lands of Norrath, Faerun, Hibernia, Midgard, Albion, Morrowind, The Kingdom of Ehb, Aerynth, and many other places. My life’s work is to destroy all who are evil, cruel and wish to cause destruction. So if you happen to meet me along the way, wave and join me if you like. Otherwise, you can probably find me in some inn or pub enjoying a few Dwarven Ales, or other stiff drink.

Now a bit of history about the person behind the persona. I am a hard core female gamer! I have been playing video games since I was a child when the first Atari system hit the stores. Since that time I have played just about every console system made. I got into computer gaming about around 1997. Since then I have played numerous single player games, but I have always found myself enjoying fantasy based games or RPGs the most. Well then in March of 99 my life was in for an unexpected new world. Everquest and the world of MMoRPGs were introduced to me. Since then I have played a lot of online games such as DAoC, Shadowbane, Earth and Beyond, SWG, EQoA, and Asheron’s Call 2. So if you have had the pleasure of adventuring with me in one of the many other games I have played then you know a bit more about me. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Ceissa Desiste, then you can probably find her in various forms in those games. I have played Ceissa Desiste for almost four years now and she usually is a Halfling Warrior. If I can’t play a Halfling then I usually am some other form of short race. I enjoy playing short races much more than the taller ones. Also, I have very little experience with role-playing. I did it for a time in EQ, but not very many people role-played so it ended up being a waste of time.
When I heard that Neverwinter Nights was being released for the PC I was excited. I remembered playing NWN back on AOL and how much I enjoyed it then. When I read that NWN was going to have multiplayer capability I was looking at a whole new way of playing online. Unfortunately problems with trying to play online arose and I have only played NWN in the single player settings or multiplayer with my boyfriend through our LAN connection. I do own both of the expansions, but have only played halfway through SoU and haven’t even started HoTU. So playing NWN multiplayer online is a new experience for me and one I’m hoping to learn and enjoy.
Some other tidbits of interest are I have been beta testing games for two years now and sign up for betas on all types of PC and console games. I also played pen and paper D&D when I was a kid with my cousins and friends on a weekly basis. I’m currently trying to get back into the PnP world with the introduction of the Everquest series for the D20 ruleset.
