I used to DM in college back in the 80's. Placed the entire Monster Manual and Combat charts into my TRS-80 database. My games were always at capacity because the game moved right along. Since them I've devoted my time to being a PC. Currently married life and a busy work/social schedule leaves me little time to devote to writing modules or DMing. But I still enjoy PC gaming. My favorite PC is that of halfling thief named "Piddle" I developed him in college and have been refining his personality ever since. Things to remember about Piddle. 1) Greed is good 2) What they don't know won't hurt me. 3) If I give you my word I keep it (honest). 4) I don't have to outrun a dragon, just you. 5) I prefer playing in a party where a tank can protect me and a cleric can heal me. 6) I hold a grudge.
Piddle's Bio: Born the bastard son of Halfington's mayor and his serving maid. Piddle's mom was cast out by the mayor's jealous wife. Pregnant and with no where to go, she was forced to earn her living on her back to provide for herself and her newborn son. Piddle grew up in a brothel and earned a few coppers working as a towel boy and snitching an odd pouch or bauble. As he approached manhood, Piddle formed his own gang "The Dead Rabbits" and earned a good living running a protection racket on the lower class merchants and rolling drunks. In fact, he did so well that he was able to buy a small mound and allow his mother the luxury of sleeping on her backside instead of working on it. His fortunes went South when two things happened: 1)The merchants that his gang had been preying on joined the guild thus putting them out of reach of his gang's extortionist ways. side note: The guild's dues was more than twice what "The Dead Rabbits" was extorting in insurance payments. 2) Piddle's mother took seriously ill. Without the funds to cure his mother himself, Piddle went to the mayor (his father) and pleaded with him to loan him the cash necessary to cure her. His father refused to help in any way and without the resources available to cure her, Piddle's mom withered and died. Upon hearing of his former servant's death the mayor had a change of heart. This was accomplished by Piddle cutting it out and replacing it with a boar's heart.
With "The Dead Rabbits" disbanded and Piddle wanted for murder he has left Halfling country to seek others' fortunes elsewhere. Piddle's current where-abouts is unknown.
