I grew up playing D&D and other role playing games. For me, the *role* in the word is the most important part. Gaming gives one the opportunity to act and be someone they are not. So, I enjoy playing detailed characters. Backstories, motivations, hates and desires are all important aspects that are different from Stats, Skills and Feats, yet are just as vital.
I've never DM'd, but that is something I would like to change. I don't have much multi-playing experience, mainly on the persistant world sites. I have owned NWN since it was released, so I am very familiar with the game mechanics. I don't have any of the expansions though.
Others can expect me to play my character to the fullest extent, even when it might lead me (and the party) to trouble.
