I've always preferred 'unusual' characters over the more normal things. Ask me to create a character and the first thing I'll ask you is what subraces and templates can be used, but there you are, heh. I have a particular love of all things Planetouched and Lower Planes' bred :P
Out of the so many types of roleplayer that exist, I consider myself leaning towards the 'method actor' type...as in, the choices of my character come first above all else. I can spend far too long working on a character's background and personality, and I try never to deviate from that. I also keep the stats of my character as close to what they should be - if this means a character with 8 Str and 6 Con - so be it.
