I'm a former 1st edition AD&D player who relocated away from my gaming group many years ago. I purchased NWN with the hopes I could recapture some of that former magic, and it certainly has not disappointed. I ran an original NWN campaign for about 3 years, with an awesome group of players. I'm now DMing another great group in a NWN2 campaign set in the same original campaign world as my NWN campaign. I typically prefer roleplaying to pure hack and slash, although a mix is nice. I enjoy the idea of a campaign where I can immerse myself in my character, and where the characters grow and interact in the world around them. As stated, my experience is with 1st edition, but I have purchased all the 3rd edition core rulebooks.
