I've followed NWN since I first saw it advertised in BG2 and have been with the game ever since. After running several long-term PnP D&D campaigns, I wanted a change of pace back in early 2004...
So I made my way to NWN online. Since then I've spent a lot of time in PWs, eventually creating my own campaign which I've been running with some of the best, most fun folk around since September 2004. We still run the campaign--and we are currently in the process of making a PW out of the same world.
Kalia D'Malen recently began playing here on NWCon and seems to be enjoying herself, so I'm following her over to take a look. ;)
That said, when I RP I tend to go with whatever my fellow players are doing; if they are going pure hack and slash, I'll do more of that--if focusing on RP, I'll do that. I'm pretty easy going really.
As a DM, I prefer to run campaigns and events with a strong story. Some players fit in well with this, some have problems adjusting to just how powerful the storyline is (since some flexibility is lost).
