Played pnp d&d in days of yore...long enough ago it's probably not relevant - yes, I definitely qualify as an old-timer - though I'm actually getting back into it as a DM. I Look for a heavy roleplaying options...preferably a long-running campaign(s)...collaboratively writing the tale of a small group of adventurers... I especially enjoy groups with forum-based rp'ing in addition to in-game.
