First off, when I DM, I run all the NPCs and all the events. I don't like having characters talk to scripted NPCs because I think that eliminates some of the roleplay aspect. I love to DM, and I'm used to improvising when a player strays from the story line. I don't judge players on their stats, due to the fact most people can be terrible judges. Every RP player is welcomed.
As a player, I always stick to character, and I sometimes pick the wrong games to play in. I'm extremely descriptive and some people will be very under appreciative and will mock my narrative style (because they can't hack it.) Some DMs just don't pay attention and play favorites, I try to avoid those games, but I just happen to get caught in them. No matter, I RP my best despite little recognition and I go by the rules of the DM no matter what.
