I enjoy campaigns with a multitude of classes playing a part. To solo an adventure is boring to me. I love group dynamics and strong role play. My favorite games involve lots of action in conjunction with player interaction-- this is hard to achieve but is a magical moment when it does happen.
As a player I tend towards multiclassed characters who can assume a support role in any party. I'm a fan of the druid class for this (and many more) reason. As a DM I try to run non-typical games. I utilize popular culture and media to add humor to a game as well as to act as a template for players to follow (assuming they catch the references.) I often throw near-impossible encounters into players way as a reminder that not all things are a winning situation; I'll award for walking away from a fight as much as I will for beating the boss. I appreciate input from players as they are who make the game truly happen. You can find me on Realms of Annakolia where I run the games...
