I had my first contact with RPG's in the early 90's, when I got my first computer. The first game I played was Richard Garriot's Ultima 7 and it's still very dear to me. As soon as I got an Internet connection I moved on and began playing MUDs, especially one called NannyMUD. I shudder to think of all the time and money I put into that strangely addictive text adventure.
Of all the cRPGs out there, Planescape Torment is my absolute favourite, with its excellent dialogue and incredible story. The characters are wonderful too, especially Morte. :)
As a Neverwinter Nights player I prefer games with ample opportunity for character development (only campaigns, no one-shots!) and a story that makes sense, preferably in a low-magic environment. I don't like when there's too much magic; I think it ruins the whole concept of magic being something extraordinary.
My characters tend to be of good alignment, though I'm currently exploring several aspects of the neutral spectrum.
When I'm not playing RPGs, (it should be the other way around, I know...) I study Electro Engineering at Chalmers.
