I am an old AD&D PnP player. Prefer stories with some plot in them (preferably a lot ;). Hack and Slash, while occationally fun, can generally be accomplished just fine without a DM. Always more fun playing in a group.

I play various alignments, but have a tendency for anti-heroes, who do the right thing , but the wrong way, using the wrong means, or sometimes for the wrong reasons.

I rarely go for the outright good or evil, but often the gray in between.

Still a character's personality should be set to fit in at least somewhat in the setting/campaign, and tough some conflicts are simply fun RP opportunities, it can become overdone too.
