I have played numerous roleplaying games over the years, computer, console, and table top. This includes Vampire, D&D, and my personal favorite, Shadowrun. I usually play sneaking/tactical combat oriented characters with a molevolent streak. Sometimes I like to play the reluctant hero, but I am always willing to try something new. I have DMed Dungeons and Dragons many times in a long term campaign, but the story didn't get very far since each session had at least one absent player. My group was forced into a less story-driven mode than we would have liked. I hope that being part of an online community will help in this respect. Now I am at a college with a great connection, so I plan to play a lot more.
