Greetings out there.
I am 25 years old by now. I've been playing first LARP (Live Action Role Playing) before I really started with pen&paper. LARP I play since 9-10 years by now and I still enjoy it alot. As for pen&paper, I fast found my greatest fun in AD&D, much later D&D 3rd Edition. While I have experience in Shadowrun, Earthdawn and Warhammer Fantasy, the Forgotten Realms of D&D are simply my second home.
Online I used to play Ultima Online on Lake Superior since the Beta Test, roleplaying as much as I could even with all the diversity of players ("What's a keyboard? Oh I think he's possessed by some demon and talking gibberish!') After leaving UO for a few months, I tried Everquest. But, being a Hardcore Roleplayer, I came back to Ultima Online and played since then on 2 player run shards. One of these I still play on, occasionally.
I have DM'ed multiple D&D games (or AD&D). Being German, you may think I did it in the same language and with translated books? Quite the contrary. While I may have Mastered some games in German, we always used the original books. Translations are crappy and full of bugs. Besides, the names simply suck. Or who would call Waterdeep "Tiefwasser"?
I take great care in emotions and ambience. While I may suck in describing areas, my ability to bring over the emotions of both PC's and NPC's are excellent. And that's what I love to do, after all. Once I pick up a character or NPC, either being a DM or helping one, I always play that role to it's fullest.
If you have ever questions, feel free to message me.
