As a DM I'm fond of large, complex plots that weave rather basic scenarios together into an intricate web of deceit. I am also quite generous.
As a player, I am very sensitive to moods and trends in the campaign, and prefer to play a character enmeshed in the game world. This requires plenty of information on the game world. Failing that, I resort to hacking my way through dungeons.
