Comments Concerning Poetic Colossus

Really just an excellent mod and an excellent DM team. A perfect implementation of the Ravenloft world. D&D doesn't get much better than this. Mulu

In a word...suh-WEET! Poetic, you've always been an excellent roleplayer, and you've obviously applied everything you learned there to your work as a DM. The NPCs were astounding, unique, and original, and the game on a whole was a blast. Definitely Top 5 material. Viva Evil Chicken!

This game was so much fun. It was my first game using neverwinter connections. Poetic C is a great dm and should make this oneshot a campaign.

If you manage to catch one of Poetic Colossus' games, you're in for a treat. His GM Grand Hall of Fame award is fully justified in my opinion.

WOW, feel honored to have Poetic as a DM. He created a great enviroment and kept his eye sharp on PC actions. Great Mod and great DM. Highly Recommended

Excellent adventure - the mod is really designed to put you in the forboding environment of Ravenloft. It was heavy on roll playing (thumbs up) with appropriate battles... and difficult, things weren't handed to you on a platter - all of which forced the group to cooperate on a character level to get things done. It was great!!

The DM Duo team that introduced NWC to me. They went on to DM probably the best FR based campaign I will ever be apart of: Vanthar's Last Song. A top notch team and I was honored to be one of their players. -Tarridus

Really a great game. Both of the DMs were personable, competent and creative. The module had a great atmosphere and the game had a couple of small twists to keep it interested. A very good one-shot.

Well, you certainly hyped this game to the max, and damn but you do not disappoint, PC. I have no qualms in saying this was the best game I've ever played in; the setting was a perfect mixture of dread and despair, with a liberal sprinkling of near-hopelessness; the plot was cleverly devised and unpredictable; you reacted seamlessly and inventively to player actions. When a player did something that either sidetracked the game or didn't mesh with your vision for it, you managed to make it forward the game somehow. Also, wonderful job handling four distinct and off-kilter personalities among your players, especially Elegy since she probably gave you the most headaches. There were elements in the game that catered to each player's strengths (and indeed their weaknesses), and the custom items were a nice and somewhat unexpected touch. Use of tells and dicerolls added to the experience, rather than breaking the mood, especially rolling for the players rather than interrupting gameplay with

Helluva game! I mean... really... Helluva game. This was my second game with a DM. In the first one I knew I was in a game. This was an adventure! It took me straight back to my PnP college days. Would recommend to anyone. Will hunt for your games. Wait! If I tell people about you I won't get in to any of your games. So on second thought, he's horrible. Don't play with him! STAY AWAY! :) Helluva game.

Had great fun. I rarely play evil chars but decided to try for this game and had a great time. The DM's gave me lots of options without me having to endanger my position within the party. Had a great time, constantly recieved little messages which told me what I was sensing as I travelled and it really added atmosphere. Some great npc's and lovely use of effects at times too. Rolls were made by the DM and didn't intrude on the game. All in all a great job.

As I have come to expect, PC and Lilvati put forth a very good game- chock full of role-play and wholesale slaughter- the npc's were well handled, the plot was never dull- pacing was good. Good job m'lord and Lady

An excellent pair of DM's, they crafted an intresting and engaging story. Would love to play with them again.

This was a fantasic game to play. The DM really had all of us caught up in the game, so much so that by the end of the game most of us had forgotten about the short interruption caused by the server crashing once. Full credit to the DM for running a great module very, very well.

Recommend this One Shot Adventure for anyone looking for a good role-playing avenue with experienced DMs. My Top experience with NWN so far, thanks! The story is honestly focused by the players.

Very good game! The atmosphere set the mood in a Ravenloft mod perfectly, with dark lighting and dreary settings. There was a constant feeling of fear throughout the entire game. I dont think that could have been done any better. I like the fact that many in game die rolls were made that the DM's used for tells and such. This gave the game a PnP feel to it. I personally prefer to make the rolls myself, but in a Single Adventure of this nature I beleive this would slow the game down too much, so being able to see the rolls you made was the next best thing. There were not an abundance of NPC's but the ones there were rich with personality, especially Jander. I enjoyed how descriptive you were during his posession. Well done! I eagerly await the next session, and I'd like very much to have Regan and Kron team up together on that one if at all possible. Send me that invite!

Nicely done all the way around. A tidy adventure with enough space for some good character work with the NPCs to shine through. Solidly entertaining for three-plus hours. Huzzah!

Wow...that was one of the most immersive experiences I have had playing NWN. Outstanding storyline, flawless roleplaying of the NPCs, evil surprises, and transitions that were smooth as glass. I found myself in a cold sweat playing this game. Anyone who has a chance to play in a game DMed by Lillivati and Poetic Colossus will NOT be disappointed. Simply outstanding in all aspects. I only hope for the rest of your sakes they decide to rerun this again as a one-shot. BRAVO!!!

A game good enough to invoke vast, post-writing obsesion in me. I should probably run through the 'world evolves around players' and 'open-ended freedom' cliches, too... But they'd make this game sound like all the others, at a glance. It isn't. This is pure gold.

That was just an awesome game. I can't wait to see the implementation of the rather outside-the-engine concepts for certain specialty abillities that are scattered across the characters, due to their backgrounds. ie: Herbology to develope new projectile weaponry, or other things, and the elusive Speak-with-the-dead ability that has yet to actually be used.

What can I say about Poetic Colossus that has not alreayd been said several dozen times? The guy is a FANTASTIC DM! Ran a game that easily ranks in my top 5 games ever played - and I've been playing since the get-go under various names. NPCs? What NPCs? They're all like player-run characters! The depth of storyline is outstanding. The execution of movements and timing is perfect. He's the MAN. If you've never played in one of his games, you have no idea what you're missing. 'Nuff said.

Impeccable pacing..I actually lost my place a few times and was scraping and crawling im sure looking like an imbecile, because the darkness played so much into things. It was a true challenge keeping my mind wrapped around everything, truly. With the interplay, and sub plots and conflict and the dark, the damnable dark. Even worked in an error into the game with me accidentally touching something and it effected me..Anyway, can't say I could hope for much more..there is no light at the end of the tunnel in these campaigns or games, you almost have to be twisted yourself to enjoy being in Ravenloft, but you two pulled everything off and made it quite enjoyable...top five , top three top period...thank you again for the opportunity Oh Poetic one.

PC..... You are a truly great DM. The module was great and the npc's were vibrant. PC and Lilivati, you worked together flawlessly. I cant wait for the next installment!

Phenomenal one-shot game. Well put together, great dms and players, I enjoyed it and learned from the experience. Good use of tells, not heavy-handed, great sound placements. Particularly strong use of other PCs to make the adventure come alive for my character. Kudos!

Well, I'm being redundant. So I'll just say - as usual (which means excellent for those who have the patience of reading below my latest review) -- Anya

I enjoyed the RP especially, and the combats were challenging. We did our own part as a group to make it harder with a misplaced fireball that fried two important NPC's. Otherwise we probably would've beat Frostbite at the end. Kudos to the DM team.

Amazing campaign with a great finish.
Character arcs were a nice touch.
Keep thoughts for a sequel on back burner, but don't jump the gun right away on it. Too much of a good thing, and all that.
Comment By: quirkster
Wonderful use of the dice bag: integrated smoothly and nearly invisibly into gameplay.

Just when I thought I’ve seeing everything PC surprises me with his great DMing style. Each NPC had a life of his/he own, but what amazed me more what the fact that each PC has the opportunity to really shine in a particular way during the game. A honor playing with you.

Colussus ran a fine game I really enjoyed it. The other players were excellent roleplayers and only made for an even better game. In the end we died but we had a good time doing it... :P
Comment By: Bogorius
Absolutely phenominal, I cannot describe how much I enjoyed that game! It was especially nice to see a stand-alone adventure. The fact that it was set in Ravenloft was the icing on the cake. Superb implementation. I would gladly reccomend anyone who wants a true D&D adventure to give this team a try!
