Comments Concerning Lazybones

Extremely fair DM, manually controls most NPC's. Long and involved storylines with unexpected plot twists. Would highly recommend.

This was the first neverwinterconnection/ D&d type game I have played. Although we didn't have many people join, the dungeon master handled it perfeclty. He did a great job with what he had to work with, which wasn't too much. :) All in all,I had a wonderful time and hope that I can learn to roleplay better next game. ;p

If you're looking for some strangely original creatures, this is the DM to play with. I've never had to download a hak pak to play one of his modules, and yet he still impresses me with the originality of his custom content! To anybody who hasn't played the Team Challenge; it'll rattle your teeth. PLAY IT! I played in my first non PvP module under him today, and it was a blast! He stays with the party the whole way, and handles each NPC with a different personality. Kudos to you Lazybones!

Final game of Paths Of Shadows I loved this campaign. Some weeks I was agog at things LB did. Nobody I have met builds areas and especially critters as well as LB without any haks. Playing in his games has taught me a good bit about building. Almost all magic items were custom and very, very nice useful without being too powerful. Each fight taught us more about tactics, brought us together and challenged us uniquely. Again I have learned (and stolen) tactics from the DM side by playing in LBs games. Overall a fantastic campaign and a superb DM.

LB is the perfect DM. He's a great builder, a great coder, has extremely creative campaigns with just the right amount of danger, keeps the PC's lean and the players wanting more, and has that firm but fair DM style which has always worked the best for this game. Mulu

I purposely wanted to play in a LazyBones game during the Con and what a great choice. The atmosphere was great, the NPC interaction was well handled and appropriate, and the flow of the game was perfect. Lazy was totally in control and it went without a hitch. Can't wait to play another of his DM'ed mods.

Simply amazing DM, his games are always immersive, challenging and entertaining. LB is what NWN is all about!

I've never played in his campaigns, but I think Lazybones could legitimately be called "King of the One-Shots". His Shrine of Eth-Barat mod is fantastic, and although I haven't tried it everyone seems to love his Team Challenge. Seek him out!

Lazybones has created an amazing world and a terrific - of what I've read thus far - storyline for Dragon's Village. The ease with which he switched from NPC to NPC was flawless. I've had games with multiple DMs that could not match this performance. I also appreciated the way the areas were designed, that the various rooms in the Citadel appeared on the same map. When you have a clunky hard drive any transition screen that is eliminated makes a HUGE difference.

Definitely has to go down as one of the best random one shot sessions that I've ever played in-As a participant in one of your earlier campaigns, I had thought that the focus of a LB style session was mostly tactics/combat but I was pleasantly suprised as

Well I've been looking to get into one of your games for a while now, being an admirer of your module design having run some of your stuff myself... I wasn't disappointed, excellent game.
A couple of comments I had on the game: Traps: As rouge, didn't have a single trap to disarm and only a couple of locks to open. Rural Village area: It was difficult to find the way to the Wizard's Lair, especially with those zombies chasing us, which meant we wandered off track for a while. No big deal I guess, but in a 2.5 hour game I sensed we rushed through the more significant final area because of this.
Thanks, and hope I get the chance to play in one of your games again. {Dunga}

So far it has been a blast. Pacing seems just about right for a low level adventure. Just enough trouble to get your heart pounding, but not enough to cause shouts of

This was a fun little romp for a one night stand.. The players were into it, and I would generally look forward to other opportunities to play with them. The DM kept everything on an even keel, even when faced with those inevitable (but still only occasional) script glitches. If only he ran a campaign... (which is what I'm looking for).

Lazybones is aptly named (and in a very good way). Lazybones was able to set up 7 people in short order, give them the hook and story and after that, flow through the entire game reacting specifically to our actions and never forcing movement once. He was very attentive to the players throughout and runs his own modules with practiced precision.

So much for me not giving 10's all the way through! Honestly, there wasn't a single thing I'd have changed about that game. Well, except for that last riddle ... I'd make it one that I could figure out! Great game LB

Thoroughly enjoyable session. It's not easy to draw in players deeply in a one shot, but the set up was fantastic and those traps and puzzles gave the game a feel that meant you didn't need an in depth story to be engaged. DM was completely on the ball all the way through, the fact that he picked up on every emoted action, without the need for prompting, and the occasional RP rewards making it obvious he was completely attentive to player activity all the way through. An example to us all, and I sincerely hope I get to experience it again some other time.

I was very happy with my first time adventure here. The plot made you think not just hack and it was very enjoyable...even the sorcophaguses that one party member did not want to try. Awesome.

I really enjoy your campaign. I liked the twist at the end of the session this time. Here we are stomping all over this lich's servants, wiping the place out. Only to reach the Lich and find out that he is being set up by another imfamous evil force. Nice switcharoo.

Great thought to all campaign NPCs...they are truly alive. Fun, compelling game play, well-balanced monsters/PCs. Simply terrific!

I had a great time LB. Thanks for running this. Like the first time I DM'ed Firefly w/Forrestwolf, I found myself looking around, trying to soak in every detail and forgetting my duties. :)
So when does the Star Wars Campaign start? Cause I'm so there...LION

This is a seriously enjoyable campaign so far, a brilliant example of what can be done with the D20 engine. The background RP on organising the resources is engaging and the RP/fighting balance is well managed. Plenty of time to engage with NPCs and PCs alike, particularly in this session over the medical support. Great fun, pure and simple.

It's about time I gave Lazybones a review, having been through two of his campaigns, and it's to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed them. Excellent pacing - sticking to two hour sessions means the game never drags, but at the same time we never seem rushed or railroaded. Fun, intelligent PCs who react well with what we do and say, solid plots with classic derring-do; LB's adventures are excellent examples of how NWN sessions should be run.

Fantastic NWN2 game beta by the Lazybones/Dane Bramage team! Can't wait til the final version hits the Vault. The NPCs were vibrant ... i.e. they had more
