Comments Concerning Play Mate

Excellent start of a new campaign! Dark Anya and Play Mate worked well as a team. They allowed the party great freedom and played out realistic and interesting NPC's. Looks very promising!

This was an excellent session of what promises to be an excellent campaign.

I enjoyed the way the orderlies were roleplayed as extremely stupid near automatons focus on their assigned tasks, how they would get stuck when their clothes caught a nail on the furniture and such. Makes one wonder how well this place can run, though.

The nurse with her mouth sewn shut was also delightful in a morbid sort of way and the strange forces that works under the cloak of invisibility and behind the walls were very nicely done aswell.

The design of the areas with placeables, lighting and sound did alot to make one feel in a an old haunted asylum, which was great and with the above mentioned NPCs and 'ghosts' it really worked to create a mood appropriate to the setting.

Overall great work to both designers and DMs.

Though it was a little rough at first, things got smoother, and turned out to be another great game from Ninja, playmate, and Elgaric!

Yaaaaay! Another awesome game!

Anudder great game from the three amigos...the party really settled this week and a much smoother game developed. The world around began to take more shape and character, and characters began to become concerned about the local village, the campaign is beginning to take off now, lookin good guys!

My first DMed NWN game and I love it. You guys handled added a lot of extra's such as dicebags and emote wands to the module and combat became intelligent. I don't think I want to play without a DM anymore. Great!

I've had the pleasure of crossing my path with these two many times since I joined NWC. They are both among the best roleplayers you could wish for and to get in a game with the two of them DMing is a blessing. It's the House of Ideas: it seems every now and then they come up with a new story to tell and every time it's top notch roleplaying and a lot of attention to detail (as a bonus, they are both excellent builders and the area design is always outstanding).

This Team is Great, as a new cahracter among two others, it was real smooth entrance for us, and the group got to know us quickly. I was Impressed Once more by Elgaric's ability to let slip information through character flaws (The fast-tongued Duergar) The Other Dm's also did really well (Play-Mate and the Hell Hound Issue, lol) -Jestyr

What a fun game! I really enjoyed the NPC's - they all seemed to have such great personalities! I can't wait for next session!

WOW. Even early to start. WHEE! And fun! Buahahahaha...

The NPC possessions were excellent. They had distinct personalities and responded swiftly and appropriately to the player's actions. Skill checks were made more interesting by being done by the DMs rather than the players using the dice bag all the time, which added to the overall mysterious atmosphere of the module. Kudos to the DMs.

The game was good and the story nice. Two notes that could for things that could have been slightly better; a bit more difficult fight, and maybe a bit more listening to the players (although I can only speak for myself) to see if they want to make DC rolls and such. Other then that, this game was just amazing.

Desperation filled my heart as I sat on the edge of my seat, wanting to get out so bad. and this was in the real world! Just imagine how my character felt! This was an excellent game, something different. I loved the whole thing. Great job. Great concept.

This game had hardly any combat at all, and we were barely equipped for it. And Play Mate, your NPCs were simply amazing, I will never forget those Light elves, to funny.

What an experience! The mod is aptly named, as all of us felt the pressure of the clock (and the noose around our necks). The DMs obviously knew what they were doing and it was so well planned that even when I stepped in as an impromptu DM I was able to contribute to the game.

The mod seemed heavily biased against the players, but I imagine that was all part of the experience. The DMs did their best to project a menacing, gripping atmosphere, and it really showed in the player's responses. It was a classic match of wits, and I hope to have a similar game again in the future.

Well done!

Thanks for a great game folks. I really appreciated the obvious effort in preparing for this memorable night's play. NPC's were vibrant and excellently played throughout and the whole event ran very smoothly. {Dunga}

This game rocked! It was very impressive right from the beginning. These Gm's really know what they are doing and work well together. They give you some real imput and if you cant RP with them you must be dead (or Undead). The other great thing is they give you ONE life, this really makes it tense and dangerous. If you succeed though you've earned it!

11/10 for the NPC's, actually - they were great! Each one was definitely unique, each fitted perfectly into the game, each was thoroughly freaky. Definitely one of the best games I've played in. You guys are very good at conjuring up an atmosphere of dread: it makes a (pleasant?) to play in a game where you really do fear for your character's life. And, like any good horror story, I'm nervous about what comes next, but I *have* turn the page to find out...

Nice work gentlemen.

Great use of the maze to add the earie feeling of walking in circles. This session had a morbid 'Alice and Wonderland' feel to it with all of the strange places and happenings. Splitiing the party up... Spooky, spooky! That over the shoulder view works wonder when your alone with creepy rats the size of your boot.

Incredibly inventive, fascinating game guys. Was enthralled watching it all as an on-looking ghost. Great interaction and just superb NPCs.

Great game. Really felt I could get into the atmosphere of the prison. The guards were well roleplayed, and the DMs were very professional.
