Comments Concerning TempesT

We (the players) slowed down at the beginning, while we got accustomed to one another. Once we were rolling, the DMs were ready for us. There were a couple of bizarre surprises that sort of overwhelmed the players momentarily, but the DMs recovered with grace to spare .
Considering they started from a premade module and inserted an impromptu plot (which was a lot of fun!), they had a tough task right out of the gate. I've been DMing and playing PnP stuff for over twenty years, and it's rare that a scratch-built plot would go this well. The most amazing thing for me though, is how few pauses were needed, this contributed greatly to the flow of the game.
I believe that the DMs were well-versed in the use of the toolset, had a sense of humour and dialogue, and were sharp enough to overcome any of the unforeseen problems in such a way that the players often didn't know anything was going on.

This I must say was the best played game so far, sure we had a bit more combat, but everything was perfectly balanced. The use of the duergar, drow, and other underdark races was simply amazing. Thanks for a great time and I look forward to next week.

TempesT ran a fantastic game. The encounters were challenging but never too hard and the puzzles were great fun. I look forward to getting the chance to play with him again.
