Comments Concerning TOJTS
Comment By: Morte
Toj changed the way I look at DMing NWN, with his freeform games and anything goes approach. It was a radical experience, when he first presented me with a situation rather than a quest.
It made me switch from "how do I keep my players on track through my pre-planne dhigh octane story" to "how do I let them do what what they want, whilst keeping things ticking over".

TOJts is, in no particular order, evil, Swedish, very creative, in charge, skilled at impro and coping with player freedom, a good (and quick) builder/scripter, and one hell of a taxidermist. With possibly one exception, these are all extremely valuable traits in a DM.

Great sense of Real Location. (Logic place building is nice.) Very much enjoyed the chat with the Captain.

Very evil powerhungry swede if you cross him... good, fun and fair DM as long as you stay on his good side. Runs a nice, fairly open plan campaign, which is always good - giving the PCs freedom to run amok/into trouble/way off course (delelte as appropriate) as they wish.

One of the best sessions yet! The robotic sentinal was excellently done... a smouldering time-bomb ready to go off, and boy did he! Challenge was perfect, and the plot is gradually coming to the boil. Bravo!

Great one-shot. As I experienced first hand the game was very versatile, allowing for different game experiences. It really depends on the player group if they get the most out of the module or if they fail gruwesomely :). I thought I had seen most of the NWN engine by now, but TOJ managed to surprise me a few times with exceptional design. Very nice and a fun game indeed. - Play Mate

Great game once again fellas, even though this time we were plagued by a few technical hitches, the game ran as smoothly as possible. Elbast's mod has massive potential and I can't wait to play the finished campaign. I'll actively seek out any future games organised by any member of this team. Thanks again guys.

GREAT FUN :)

Great team. Loads of fun was had by all, the team worked well from the point of view of the players. A good amount of time was given in between 'encounters' for the all-important roleplay. Thanks guys :)

Great first adventure, adding you to my DM list for this! Loads of fun, bizarre module and flawlessly pulled of. Thanks for the game!

This campaign has been fun for me from the start. The DM's do their best to personalize the game, and include the player's development and such in the gameplay.
My character was emoting his faith in luck by flipping a coin - well, later on and in an appropriate way - the DM's created a 'lucky coin' for my character! That really made the entire experience for me that day.
If DMs are trying to do these kinds of things, the game seems more epic and personal. Everyone likes custom armor and items, but getting a Lucky Coin? That just breaks the mold.
I am looking forward to seeing the other characters develop and seeing how my character interacts with them in this long-term campaign setting.
With these kinds of DMs running the show, its bound to get VERY interesting!

Elbast is ever committed to the theatrical, epic drama, where the great emotions runs wild, and the plot always runs tight. It is the players who are the centre of it all, but the world around is so alive and so full of mystery, drama, danger and wonderful things, I always look forward to returning to this world and experience more. Definitely one of the best DMs ever, with some incredible co-DMs by his side :)

True roleplaying. Need I say more? Well, okay, just a bit. This is the sort of fantasy adventure you dream of when you want to get immersed in a story - and *be* part of that story. NPCs that actually exist as real entities. Communities of interacting entities. And adventure with more mysteries on the horizon...

Fine conclusion to an enthralling role playing adventure. Hey, we even got to kill a few NPCs this time! An interesting twist to the usual

I loved the game's challenge and the pace was intense. A real action thriller with a nice dose of roleplay. What I missed was more time to interact with other players and more interactions with NPCs. I was hoping for more opportunities to develope our characters personality vice but at least we managed to more or less fit into the game schedule (heh and that's an accomplishment for a single shot adventure). The game design was also top notch. Thumbs up.

I thought it was great, it would not have worked with 2 more players or one less GM, they did a good job making the locations seem alive and responding to In game player prompts. (listening and spotting)
Hope to play in another of thier games. --Alt

Good game! Lots of fun. Lots of twists to keep us guessing. The maze goblin was very well played. Lots of cool tricks in the module, like the labyrinth and the room of mirrors where we fought clones of ourselves.
The weakest parts of the game were the beginning and end. Could use some introductions and background info at the beginning so we know what we're doing and why. The end could have been wrapped up better too. What happened to the orcs in the cave? Were there many left? Did we save the village?
Overall a fun game. Great job!
