Comments Concerning Drengist

Comment By: Elbast
A consummate professional. Drengist only DMs his own mod - the last alliance - but it is superbly built and run brilliantly, with each campaign altered to more involve the specific group of players. He has virtually no scripted encounters, and literally no scripted major NPCs yet the mod is full of atmosphere and tension. A great game to play, and, i found recently, to co-DM.

Drengist has my vote for his ability to closely recreate what pnp is. He is all of his NPC's, he uses very little scripting, the story develops around the characters, and you don't just "play through" a ready made mod. He is flexible and very creative, and his mod very dynamic.

The first part of Klenner's Adventure was fun & exciting, but this team gets a spot on my "Top 5" list for just one scene out of the whole 6 hours. I honeslty couldn't tell which way the standoff with 2 NPCs and their band of armed men would go - I found myself chosing my PC's words VERY carefully. It's this kind of unpredictability in a well-DM'd game that makes role-playing especially fun.

Great sense of Real Location. (Logic place building is nice.) Very much enjoyed the chat with the Captain.

This was a great game. I think it was nearly perfectly executed, and nowhere along the line did I get the feeling that this was out of place or wrong in any way. I can't wait to see how the plot turns in the conclusion of the module. The module itself is also great, with a nice attention for details. Names and characters etc. were all believable.
