Comments Concerning Valas

Great Co-DM Dungajin and Valas! That module was excellent and very challenging. My only wish was for more serious players, but for a one-shot this was great fun!

Once again this module really blows me away. It's not the best module technically, but it certainly is one of the most fun and unique ones I have had the pleasure of playing. The DM's (Valas and Aloren) made the game flow perfectly smooth and kept everyone having a good time.

Your ability to react to what the players are doing and change the plot accordingly is getting better and better. I love the way you integrate players actions into the game and everything flows seamlessly. Overall an outstanding game with more than a few surprises to keep us on our toes. I will miss it next week.

It's amazing that this was the first run through of the module created by Valas. It was SO polished you would have thought he had been running it for months. A few faction problems arose, but that was because of players actions, and a few areas the battles were way too easy and som way too hard (if the characters had not been twinked as much as they had been). DM Aloren really knows his stuff, and I was really glad he joined us for the last few sessions! Please send me invites to any games you guys run!! --Eolyn Trueblood--

hehehe... I guess I learned my lesson not to lie to the dm's... I thought you new I was kidding when I said that Kit had the finger. And then the double whammy. One of you hit me for 25 points and the other one for 50 (I'm assuming this of course).
I was a little surprized to see Niavia bargaining with us like that. She seems to be losing her powers as Kit's faith in her wanes. And of course, Niavia's display of weakness may have accerlerated the overall decline in Kit's devotion. Should be interesting to see if it was just a ploy on Niavia's part to elicit sympathy and aid from the group or if she really is in a downward spiral.

Very strange game but also very very good

This I must say was the best played game so far, sure we had a bit more combat, but everything was perfectly balanced. The use of the duergar, drow, and other underdark races was simply amazing. Thanks for a great time and I look forward to next week.

Valas and Niavia make an excellent dm combination. They bring a rich storyline to each setting, and work hand in hand to enhance the overall experience for us all.

The game dynamics and creativity make this mod not only unique, but also incredibly fun. The DM's are fabulous. The NPC's are vibrant and alive. The whole mod itself seems to take on a true life setting. You feel like you are living your character when you play with these guys. I loved it and can't wait for next session.

Now here was a game that flowed so well together that it felt entirely organic. The stumbling upon the villain and the revelation felt completely and innocently accidental, because the player characters wanted to talk to the NPC in question anyway.
Maybe it was because the module was brilliantly set up to where All Roads Lead to Rome, so to speak as far as the plot was concerned, or maybe it was because the combination of coincidental Player Character intent and subtle DM guiding made everything move like clockwork, but this game have the best flow I have ever seen in an NWN game.
Whether you are planning to continue this in campaign form, or will just be hosting completely different modules, here's looking at you, Arawen and Valas.
