Comments Concerning Dark Anya

Comment By: Beron
Excellent start of a new campaign! Dark Anya and Play Mate worked well as a team. They allowed the party great freedom and played out realistic and interesting NPC's. Looks very promising!

Yaaaaay! Another awesome game!

My first DMed NWN game and I love it. You guys handled added a lot of extra's such as dicebags and emote wands to the module and combat became intelligent. I don't think I want to play without a DM anymore. Great!

I've had the pleasure of crossing my path with these two many times since I joined NWC. They are both among the best roleplayers you could wish for and to get in a game with the two of them DMing is a blessing. It's the House of Ideas: it seems every now and then they come up with a new story to tell and every time it's top notch roleplaying and a lot of attention to detail (as a bonus, they are both excellent builders and the area design is always outstanding).

What a fun game! I really enjoyed the NPC's - they all seemed to have such great personalities! I can't wait for next session!

WOW. Even early to start. WHEE! And fun! Buahahahaha...

The NPC possessions were excellent. They had distinct personalities and responded swiftly and appropriately to the player's actions. Skill checks were made more interesting by being done by the DMs rather than the players using the dice bag all the time, which added to the overall mysterious atmosphere of the module. Kudos to the DMs.

You can really feel the effort Anya puts into every area and every NPC. Coupled with superlative bulding skill and a real knack for getting the little details that others miss, she just goes from strength to strength. A wonderful DM.

Very nice again Anya :) having the party split was tough to do and you pretty much pulled it off while carrying on a major NPC conversation..bravo Also Xaemar was a great NPC character with lots of personality... like all the NPCs you take over. I really have to put you on the top of my list. ...now if only Mak could get a hack at something ;)

This was a wanderful game! Anya, your skill to do conversations between multiple NPCs, to bring them alive while they disputed themselves, to create the feel of the world, was impressive.

We did not advance fast, I hope it didn't disturb you, but I loved living in your world and the time seemed to fly by as a sweet summer's evening on the sight of your beloved (if you'll excuse the colourfull metaphore).

Please, let us savour such a game again, let us dwell in distant lands, revell at the beauty of the worlds you have created. I thank thee for this game.

Dark Anya is excellent at pacing a game, mixing frenetic fights with slow emotional moments, focusing on the present while dropping clues to the overall story arc. Hard to believe it when she says a lot of it is improvisation. The NPCs are always fascinating and distinct, and I love the feeling of her presence surrounding us, watching for the right moment to step in.

I loved the game, and hope to join another in the near future of yours. All the NPC were very lifelike. Unfortunately, our characters could not gather all the clues with any efficiency, and sometimes hints had to be given to get the story moving. But I'd rather have a few hints than wander around aimlessly! Great job in DMing!
