Well for a first game it was truely allot of fun, i'm sure that in the future things will only get better and i'm really looking foward to that. Keep up the good work you two.

A great first session for a somewhat rusty team of DMs. My major complaint would be that you guys were sometimes slow to pick up on player requests but, asides from that, I think we're off to a great campaign.

Jenniza managed the session very well, allowing the players room to do their thing but making a valuable contribution by controlling the NPCs at just the right times. Well done Jenny :)

It's so wonderful that you not only gave the characters space to do their thing in the banquet, but joined right in. Improv makes me really really happy, especially from the DMs.

I'm still amazed that the whole plot following the bandit capture was improvised on the spot. Great job, Jenniza! The DMs are doing great on managing our multiple conversations and questions with NPCs, too; not an easy task.

A really enjoyable session. The way the DMs handle the NPCs is wonderful; they really come alive (yes, even the undead ones ;)) The story line has heart and one always feels emotionally involved. There are great opportunities for roleplay and one can hardly go wrong.

Good job of building tension: even the level design (the long spiral to the lair of the villain) fostered tension and expectation. I love the way you leave space for all our strange and outrageous personalities to interact and shine.

Once again a superb job by these DMs. I love the way they let the players do whatever they want, but throw in curved balls to punish waywardness and stupidity. The hallmark of great DMing is that most of the time you hardly know that they are there, yet the game proceeds smoothly in a believable and emersive way. Well done team.

After setbacks from player absences/drops the DMs came roaring back with a great session. New players were integrated into the story line and play progressed at a blistering paces. May have been the best session yet in this long running campaign.

Jenniza did a great job roleplaying NPC's. She was attentive to the players and very fair when the situation warrented. I, for one, will happily game with her anytime she will have me.
One note: This is more directed at the module then the DM. This combat in this session consisted mostly of 2 extremely tough battles. It is a personal preference of mine to have a few more medium to hard level fights in place of fewer almost impossible ones. This may have just been the part of the module that I started in though.
All in all, I had a blast. Thanks again Jenniza!

Kel-Garas is a tough enemy, even in SP with all the equipment going to one character, so it's no surprise that we got pwnd with no hope in sight of winning... but the rest of it seemed to be balanced all right. There wasnt any NPC interaction that i saw this time so i put the NPC score at about the average of the other scores. we are finding out first hand how the death system works in this campaign.

keeping in mind that this game was SoU and only modified to work with a multiperson party, the DM didnt really do much, and had nothing to do with the plot itself. there was a bit of NPC activity, but mostly just overseeing things to make sure they went smoothly. having said that, i also add that they did go smoothly. there's not much in the way of treasure for 4-5 people, but there doesn't need to be because of strength in numbers. it's hard to give numbers to this when things like "game design" had nothing to do with the DM. :^/

Hard to guage this, since I am new to online NWN. Running the OC makes some of the questions N/A. I didn't give scores higher than 8 for evaluations that don't apply, but jenniza has been great.

A ruleset and campaign setting that managed to be easy to use, nice to look at, comparatively small in DL size, based on a great series...
Bravo.
Perhaps the module was a little too easy, but maybe we were just too good. Who can say? ^.^
An inspirational game, and one that has instantly sold me on using this custom content set.

I much smoother game than act 2. You were great with your on the spot remedies even if the game did give us a bit of trouble. It's by far the best community module I've played on NWN yet. Mind you I've only started checking it out now. I'm really enjoying myself. Keep up the good work.

Server had all kinds of problems last night. Required a reboot at the beginning and there was some problems with characters. The assistant DM seemed to be having a lot of problems with the game as well, since she kept logging out and back in. Close to the end of the night, the game crashed 3 times due to some wierd problems. Just a bad night for the poor server.
The game itself is progressing nicely. It's getting more challenging as we move along. I'm holding my opinion on the treasure part of it. We really haven't gotten much as of yet but that may be module design and all the goodies are closer to the end. The puzzle we ran into was challenging and a good design. I don't want to give anything away on it just in case someone reads this who hasn't played the module yet. But I really liked how you had to discover the solution. Was pretty nifty. As far as the rest of the game goes, I'm pretty curious to see how it ends. It's a fun module.

They did a great job with the NPC's and monsters. What i really like is the light touch they have that brings the game to another level. Great Puzzles and spooky feel.

great game! it was run smoothly and fairly, and really made us think. a few server kinks at the end of session where handled quickly so play could continue. i was a little disgruntled that disease didn't show up as in OC/SoU (hp bar color change) so that i wasted some scrolls uselessly, maybe its just HCR which i've never played before. i can see where the avg char might not know whats wrong, but a cl/dr/p shuld be able to tell at a glance. either way, it was only a minor thing at best, and i can live with it while playing the best game i've played so far! thanks FW and Jenn

The game started late, but that had a bit to do with the use of hardcore ruleset tools that most of us didn't know how to use being new. Server stability was good. Save times were a bit slow. Or, maybe I'm just spoiled from my last session where you'd blink and miss the fact that it happened. I only lagged once or twice, but that could be anything and not necessarily server lag.
The story is going decent so far. The NPC roleplaying wasn't as smooth as I would of liked. It wasn't horrible, but it seemed a bit forced. So far, all of the mobs we've run into have been exceedingly easy. The ghosts were a bit rougher. I'm imagining this is by design, so I'm holding my opinion on the challenge rating until the campaign is over. We haven't received much in the way of treasure, yet. But, once again, that may be by design. This is a 3 game run, so who knows what's in store for the future. I'd really like it better that if a game is listed as "campaign" that these reviews only came up after the campaign was completed. Assuming a short campaign like this one, that is. As it stands, it's a little rough to review it so early.

this was only my 2nd online game, and this one has me hooked. just wish we could have gotten further than we did 1st session (mainly due to party feeling its way around what part to play in the group). minor problems with missing gear and some questions on module unique items, but DM's handled it all very well and got us into the module as quickly as possible. VERY ENJOYABLE!

Had a wonderful time. Was challenged in many ways, but never so difficult that it wasn't something that we in the party couldn't solve. Well done story for a short adventure. About the only complaint I might have would be on the lack of treasure for everyone in the party- a few odds and ends in old equipment around, but little else. However, that didn't detract from the adventure itself at all. The DM's were also very good in being flexible in a couple of unusual circumstances, and handled them admirably well.

A very nice adventure. Pretty straight-forward quest for a magic item. The areas were very well created. The battles were a bit on the easy side, but since there were some new players, that was probably a good idea. Overall, well done.

I liked to do play in this freeform game we had chances to play out of the engine.
One shots are hard to manage I think. When you say the game length is 2.5h or whatever, and the player will play a lot of conversations or similar. Then you have to cut out some nice things to hold the game-length setting.

While the game design and style of DMing were top-knotch, the plot was confusing at best. At the end, I still had no idea at all what was going on. Other than that, though, the game was excellent.

Thanks for a great game, a pity the ending was a bit sudden and dissapointing.
For the rest it was great! I really liked the mirror room battle, and the minotaur in the maze!
[Jenniza's reply to comment: Most of us had no stability issues connecting to the host's server. I think one dm was complaining about his long-term personal experience with NWN's stability on his client-side connection, and one player lost connection once. I never saw a stability problem on the server of the person who was host for today's game. Oh well.]

Hmmmm, maybe not the best choice of Mods, but it seemed very fuzzy as to where to go and what to do. Were we supposed to alk to the NPC's or the DM controlled NPC's?. SOme stability/lag issues, but no big deal there.
Need more of a hook right off the start to get the ball rolling and give us a goal to do. The one quest they gave us.. find a dog in the sewers, well we explored the sewers, and there was no dog at all. Unresolved.

The game ran smooth, the DM's were able to add something to the flow of the module, which helped keep it moving along and made it more interesting to play. I really look forward to what they are going to be able to do in follow-up sessions.

I'll make an anonymous comment as the only player.... It was fabulous for a quickie. Hack and slash all the way. We just went through and dealt with adversity by adding more henchmen. Good game!

Solid enough, the DMs pretty much let this module run and stayed out of the way. Only one suggestion, really, which is to find yourselves a more suitable module next time. Witch's Wake 1 isn't that good for multiplay, what with all the players having to each go through the same scripted sequences. It treats them as multiple soloists rather than a party. Also it's not that much fun to DM -- with everything scripted, you don't have much to do. And if you do decide to have a bit of fun, you have to be despearately careful not to break a bit of scripted logic by overriding something. But you made a pretty decent go of it.
