Good game this week. The DMs always know what they are doing so I am always excited to participate in the campaign. This week the umber hulk was challenging I like that. I hope that there will be a lot more battles like that it seems that we are at that point where we just tear through monsters.
Igor was great he added that humour to the game that is always enjoyable to have. Great job on him.
On the hound archon it is hard to say what should have happened. I know my character would not have let him out since in truth he has no idea what it is. And than again is it really a hound archon or just some balor waiting to tear our heads off and feast on our innocent souls.

Hmmm...not exactly what I was expecting (I was sure we'd see Barghal again already) but still lots of fun. Will be nice to have somewhere to stay where we're not in danger of being killed off all the time

Great game as usual. The three DMs work great as a team. They set the mood and the environment of the game to be as close to a pen and paper as you can get with the engine.
Great job to all of you.

This campaign is getting closer and closer to PnP. I don't know what higher compliment one can give. Up there with some of the best PnP sessions I have had.
But please - no more skeleton warriors! *winks*

Great game as per usual. Trying to solve the Old Man's crazed words was excellent, especially as he painted what was to occur. I am wondering what would have happened to Danvill if he had been allowed to finish his picture?

What can I say...some of the best DM's we have, working really well together. NPC talk was great, and with this many DM's it allowed a lot more intrigue to be added to the game. Great job guys

A lot of empty space where nothing happened. I can't say what is at fault for that exactly, but there was quite a bit of staring at the enemy while they stared at you. Given that a large portion of the session was taken up by very repetitive dialogue, it became rather boring, really.

I hate to beat you up over the server because it's not your fault. Many technical problems but I think you did as well as anyone could have keeping the game running. It didn't help that party kept separating. I'm glad to get loose plot ends tied up--thanks for setting this pu. Thanks also for giving the team the +2 mace of disruption... I was drooling over it so I tried to steer it to someone who didn't already have a magic weapon. :)

There was an initial problem with the server not being up which was beyond your control. As solo DM with 5-6 players, you were superb in keeping up with what all of us were doing & keeping the game organized and moving. Previously I gave feedback that I'd like to see more custom treasure and you've started doing that--thanks. Combat was especially well done and challenging today. Even with the server issue I enjoyed this session greatly and it made my Top 5 Best list. Bravo!

Very VERY good considering it was only Wheldrake. Bit heavy on the people to question but have no info, and some people in the party don't seem to get that, so a subtle *couch* reel us in *couch* hint might help.

The game was late due to a server problem that was out of the controll of the DM's. This sort of thing happens and is not really anyones fault.

I truly enjoy playing in Forgotten Heroes and think the DMs are doing a marvelous job. Thanks for all your hard work. We had some server glitches beyond anyone's control, causing the game to start late. I did not mark this because everyone was present, just waiting for the server.
I have one request, a minor thing but it would increase my enjoyment. I'd like to see more custom magic items in the treasure which would be of specific interest & usefulness to individual players. Example: a scimitar with bonuses against undead for a druid, armor or boots that increase stealth for a scout, etc. (Can I say that my own char would really like a magic longbow without giving away my identity?) As a PnP DM, I always liked to place a few items targeted for specific PCs to enjoy, rather than just accept bland random treasure tables.

Overall this was another outstanding game. The adventure was well-plotted and moved along nicely. Excellent work as always on NPC roleplay.
The only downside was the final combat. It ended up being a train wreck. Most of the fault lies with the players for attacking without being fully prepared. We were never able to rest so we went in at partial strength. However I think the creatures were too strong to start with. We had 2 new chars at 2nd level, and the other chars were only level 3-4. Multiple ogres with berzerkers accompanied by many goblin elite was a fight way out of our league--even if we were at our full strength they still would have slaughtered us. I felt the DMs encouraged us to go after the chief ogre and in that case the encounters should have been scaled down so we had a chance of success.
Despite the rough ending I had a really great time & I'm glad to be playing again after the long break. Many thanks to the DM team.

I thinkthe game was quite well run and organised. What was eup[posed to be easy had turned on us, and proved to be a fun night. It is a little odd to be runnign off a module, as the side quest seem to be getting involved, but the Dm's are giving enough impetus to keep us moving.

It was a perfect, well balanced game, the best I played in months. I had my good share of fun. The only tear I shed is on account of treasure. I think it ought to be provided IN GAME. I don't mean there should have been tons of gems or gold, no. I like to finish the chapter of a campaign with enough gold to stock up on potions again and maybe be able to buy a little piece of gear. Every player should have the opportunity to gain as much, without being driven to make a rush at what the monsters drop, before their team mates can snatch it away. This is a sort of useless stress I do not like in game. You'll never see me dart to a chest or a loot bag. Bad vibes between teammates should be roleplayed, not forced upon by deprivation. Besides the roleplaying my aim is to adapt to the others, to improve the teamplay. Quarreling for loot is counterproductive. I believe it's fairly enough when you have monsters to fight and problems to solve. And one more thing: I do not believe that a bunch of sailors, mercenaries and fugitives would ever endanger their own lives and spend all of their dough without getting anything in return but battling experience and a warm handshake. I think they rather stay in their hammocks (like Kaal, lol) or help repair the ship in order to get away from that cursed place as soon as possible. Hence only a fair amount of treasure will keep the plot believable.
[Quillmaster's reply to comment: Point taken. It was intended to have the Ranger give some items as reward, and as I pointed out at the end of the session, these will be given out start of next session.]

Good game tonight, though a bit rough. First session in the campagin, after all, and there were those horrible crashes (me especially).. Could have been better on that front.
The plot promises to be incredibly rich, it seems. got me all confused with how much is happening. Although I can't really tie everything together right now, I suspect I will be, later.
The group had some teething problems, but I suppose that's to be expected.

I was going to give 9's for the most part so that the 10's stood out...but I'm not sure how certains things could have been better.
I took off 1 point on Challenge due to the wererats...but you scored points for fairness by raising those that fell. :D
It's too bad we had to spend our last half hour together cleaning up after the crash. We were on a good roll at the end.
Overall, I obviously *really* enjoyed the game!

For a starting adventure of a campaign this was alot of fun. Everything flowed fairly smoothly and the only real problem I saw was the addition of Wererats as part of the second and third encounters which were difficult to deal with. Outside of that this was a great time and I look forward to the next session.

Wheldrake and Quillmaster are a team to be reckoned with. It was one hell of a joyride with them encouraging the group constantly to stay in role by method of reward (though no punishment. I would very much like them to do some of THAT :))
They without fault managed to control and contain our chaotic and constantly splitting party. Very nice indeed.
[Quillmaster's reply to comment: An interesting comment. At the back of ones mind one is always concious of not wanting to upset people, but maybe deducting xp would have put better control on the unruly players in past games.]

The Soul Keep one-shot was great but I had the feeling that I missed loads of stuff ;) The DMs answered very well to the actions of the players, I LOVE this freeform-way of playing NWN online :)
Thanks to the AMOOF guild for this adventure!

I have to say that this was a condensed version of a larger mod so there felt like we were missing out on some stuff durring the game but as for what we ran through I was really impressed buy there methods of DM....I would highly recommend them to play with....a real join

You really tried your best and I felt like getting enough personal attention to my actions so no fault on your part there, but the party was just too big and it was all too chaotic. Leaving people behind, running around the module which made the plot less visible for me, people that came in late (which you brought back in to the game really great btw), extra showups, etc. I lost track of what we were doing. Sorry. You did a good job I think, but the party couldn't co-operate really well.
[Quillmaster's reply to comment: It was our hardest session to DM without a doubt, mainly due to the unruly players who kept running around with no apparent interest in the story. One player in particular springs to mind whom we did try to handle, but when the party kept splitting up it made things very difficult for us. In contrast, todays session felt MUCH better, simply because the players worked as a group and paid attention to what was said, so I can see where you are coming from. Don't let it put you off group play, t]

Very enjoyable to many players which shifted from rp to more of a hack and slash but DM did well and made a wonderful mod.

DM's did great job on clues & preety much everything else. Shame players did not obey at all times...
Game was getting H&S acpect towards end but due to players & their affinity for it altho DM's did their best to keep roleplay high & were giving good amount of XP for every roleplay move worth mentioning.
I would & I hope i will play more games hosted by two of them. Great job!

except for a little beginning server lag, everything was great. most of the problems we faced were all party created by neither sticking together nor making plans before rushing into a situation. as for the little internal conflict; i used to solve that little problem in PnP by dropping in wandering monsters attracted by all the noise (just a hint). i wouldn't mind playing the rest of the mod with the same party in the future; giving the group the chance to become a well-oiled machine. good story line and side plots.

Great fun to be had by all!! Wheldrake and Quillmaster led a very compelling game. The module was run smoothly form beginning to end and was very patient with the PC's as the tried to find the adventure. NPC's were rich and the story compelling. I would greatly enjoy to play with these DM's again!!

This was my first online game and i thoroughly enjoyed it, the DMs certainly put alot of effort into making the game come to life. A huge emprovement on single player. As to my experience compared to other dms i cant say but the game ran smoothly and the adventure kept us interested. The dms provided a good mix of story and combat, aswell as a few surprises. Thumbs up from me and hope to take part in more of the same

The conclusion of our quest was a great episode. The fact that we all died at the end doesn't lessen my appreciation of it. I had been thinkling what a shame it was not to be able to continue after this session - with my character's death that problem is resolved.

Quill tis hard to believe that this is your first run at a mod, really! I thought the game so well run, so well balanced, It was a very rich world full of history and interesting stories and intersting NPC's ( thanks to the fellow playing them). It was atmospheric, full of many intereting areas, and your monster encounters well balanced. There was neither to much nor to little in the way of equipment and money, we had what we needed. And, above all, it was a very well told story. Wish we still had some left to play on it, and look forward to the day when you run the next one. Thank you so much LRP

Ohh Quill this is the best game yet so far, I really loved it. You know not only is the group working splendidly well together, and inter roleplaying well, but we got to see so much rp from the NPC's today, and one and all got to do this. It did not feel rushed through and the game and yourself the dm through his NPC's fully savored in all their rich detail. It was really, really fun, splendid. Having enough potions and kits and adquate equipment also really takes off so much of the stress. It was well balanced in everyway today, I can find no fault,no shortcoming. A true pleasure, and a pace that allowed us as PC's to give so fine a mod the attention it deserves. I am only sorry that this did not happen sooner, and am glad it has happened now. Good game Quill LRP

The second episode in our adventure was brilliantly executed, though we sorely missed our cleric after her untimely disappearance. It did make us think twice about how we fought our battles though. The lore and conversations embedded in the mod were extremely clever, the only thing missing was an advanced faction system that would have allowed us to negotiate with the heathen gobbos instead of slaughtering them to the last nit.

Quill I think you have a rich game with great pot, good npc's and many many ways to convey that through books and the NPC's themselves. How fast a group goes through and one mod depends on the group. ie I played on mod where it took my group weeks longer than others to do the same. I missed the very start of the game and am not aware of how ye went about organizing groups. Understandably when I went on we went through the door..but was also without a clear idea of the players and classes and so on. The ooc area is a good get acquainted place and a great area for setting a new group of players as to who does what. Much less crazy making for the dm is there is a spokesperson set for the group so one person is firing questions at ye LOL and for rest to be able to follow with their questions. The only real criticism was that none were given time to enjoy rp'ing with each other and savor the richness of this module. Ye had one player the ranger who badly wanted to read all the books and RL who knows mayhap he is a slow reader and needs time. Certainly many had stories to them that I would have loved hearing. My favorite part of the story was when we as a group gathered round the campfire to heal from our wounds. Because this gave time to know other players for a bit. And your descriptions of the meat cooking and so on so helped to lend a peaceful outlook to that. Aye I do wish the group was inclined to examining the barrels also, umm since I am a cleric and not the rogue or even impulsive fighter, I had to sit on that urge, knowing full well as dm in that were things we as a group need, so sending the captain in with money to get the heal kits was splendid. And good group that this is, not one took his share of the moneys, letting the cleric get the heal kits, and good thing as three of the ten were quickly used up. So I thought ye did a good job of seeing the group was taken care off, and that all was kept balanced. My only recommendation would be to have built in slow down places where the group plain old needs to hang out, instead of being able to rush place to place, doing quests. This is also a player responsibility to and in ooc next game want to suggest we do that. And should be choose to do so, then I know from the campfire setting and description ye provided that you as dm will help make that happen. Tis a splendid and rich game, and I for one want to slow down and enjoy where my PC is and the others. Good job LRP

Q's quirky mystery was an excellent example of use of plot and character, one that many DMs would do well to take note of. The lore was well-written and the linked situations kept our characters motivated and on our toes.
