I enjoyed this game immensely! Excellent use of custom tilesets and objects (despite the fact my awful computer setup wasn't able to render some of them), engaging plot and very story-focused, with a healthy injection of action, and it finished exactly on time too. Thank you to both of the DMs!

I enjoyed this session a lot, I did. For a one-shot, it was very well balanced. My scores however will show that I think there are a few places where the talented DMs can improve a bit. For example, the NPCs. First of all, there were too few of them - only two, and second of all, they were very quickly dismissed. Also, they gave out their bit of information and that was it. I think they should be slowed down a bit and also more present - like the sailor could be really afraid of speaking about Sailors Bane and the other NPC could be really tormented about the situation and extremely happy to see someone coming to help. But besides, this, very very very fun and atmospheric! -- Anya

The module description written by the creator specifically stated the game was very light on RP and there only a few NPC's. In order to finish this one-shot in the time aloted it is important to keep the pace moving. This was my first online game and I enjoyed it immensley. The pace was very different from the single player and actually felt quite similar to pen and paper. This one really kept me on my toes and kept me guessing to the end.

From the big guard, down to the smallest cat.. each NPC comes truly alive... the game is putting the players in position, where they very truly have to start consider theyre alignments and actions.. nothing regular about the game.. :D

Another excellent game, though I'm only sorry I had to jump out early. I was having a lot of fun roleplaying with the other party members and the world, and the jailbreak was particularly well-done atmospherically.

dreamtheatre and jdon7 are a very talented pair of dungeon masters. They run a very involved and intriguing story that allows the characters to get into the setting and live out the tale.
Even with having to handle a divided party through a range of situations they did awesome.

The DMs made the module come alive, vibrant npcs with great and varied personalities.
Each interaction and happening in the session went smoothly and helped immerse you into the story. After a little bullying they were swayed by player demand to continue on for three or so hours as we were so keen for what the campaign offers.

Great to have the game together again. :) It turned into a very long session, but I had a lot of fun meeting up with the other characters and playing through the story all the same. JD is, as always, in excellent form and he and DT together made a great duo. Well done!

You know I was afraid that the dm was just going to throw dinosaur after dinosaur at us with no npc interaction. But they proved me wrong by having us go visit a village. Nice to know the dm is making sure we get just as much npc interaction as fighting. Hell I usually prefer more npc interaction.

I felt like I was playing a fantasy setting of Jurassic Park. Probably what I liked best is the tactics the raptors used. Attack us quickly then run out of range. The T-Rex was also great.

Excellent job this time, loved the arena fights. Each fighter seemed to have a unique personality. Also enjoyed the setup for the cultist attack, really had my blood pumping as I tried to take on four of them at once.......plot seems to be moving along nicely now, can't wait until next time.

This is truly one of the best campaigns I've ever played in. Its not a simple go fight monsters to get treasure sort of thing. They're always trying to give us more realistic problems like arrange marriages and ending up getting someone pregnant. While the game was plagued with crashes I still had enormous fun both because of great fellow players and great DMs. Looking forward to next week.
Although you should follow a player in action more if possible. When I sneaked into the house and opened one of the doors, the girl was behind them but she did nothing. Still that was a small overlook.

Really good game. You responded to Kit well and kept the game flowing smoothly. Time flew by and it really felt like we had only been playing for 1 hour when you called time. I also felt Kit had more freedom to do what she needed to do perhaps due to the extra DM.

Fantastic game. It was hard for you with three different groups to manage. You really need another DM. I guess Kit will be doing more things in secret as she tries to build up Niavias church. Also maybe I am just missing it but we never seem to find any treasure. Kit has apalling ac for an epic character. She also has very little money. I am sure it is all going to Gregan since he is able to buy houses.

I can't believe the amount of detail you put into Westgate. You've really outdone yourself on this one. I enjoyed the werewolf quest but I still can't decide whether Gran wanted to infect us and make us join him or if he was just tired and wanted to be put out of his misery. I'd like to believe it was at least a little bit of the later. Like he had a deathwish but couldn't bring himself to actually end his own life. I guess we'll never know. I also must say that the group is getting funner and funner to play off. Not that the players were ever anything other than top notch, but Sam and Funga do make excellant additions to our group.

Fantastic game as always. Slightly marred by the repeat crashing when in the hidden domain. Seems to be a bug in 1.61. How things would have changed if that hadnt happened. Perhaps Kit casting stoneskin on the demons would have turned things in her favor. Oh well...

Pros- Dms are very flexible and seem to try everything they can to work beyond the nwn engine. Whether its having players using a scrying staff or summoning celestrial beings to answer questions. And the npcs are always interesting. cons- Found none yet, heh.

A fantastic game this past session! The battle scene was really impressive, and the ballistae were very creative. The set-up to the battle was believable, and the encampment had a realistic feel to it. I liked that we had to go to the barn to rest. Nice build up and pacing, and except for a faction bug (those always happen to DM's somehow, it's the curse of this game) things ran smoothly. The faction problem was dealt with quickly, and the game left me excited to see what happens next. Great work!

A great session, very dramatic pacing as we fought to keep the invading army at bay. Nice touch with the ballistae. It's amazing how much you can get out of just spawning in waves of monsters to attack... unique bad guys, too, they were tough without feeling cliche. Overall setting was nice, good NPCs especially the rogue.

Was really tired going into the game and wasn't real eager to jump into things. Once we started and got going I truly enjoyed things (gee what a suprise). =)

I loved the hint of intrigue when the celestial mentioned 'The Reckoning'. I'm starting to get a picture in my head about what may have happened between Mystra and Niavia. Could she be a rival who was beaten and then banished by Mystra? Or perhaps an ungrateful daughter cast out for arrogance and pride? Maybe just an old poker buddy who lost an unusual bet. Can't wait to find out.

Excellent. You make the abyss come alive. One comment on the emote system. It doesnt seem to work when there are monsters nearby as it is now tied to rest. I am really excited about the final showdown next week. Assuming it is the final one.

Awsome job DT!! As usual an extremely well ran session. Especially liked the part with Kyle Mcknibbitt. Playing off of past experiences is one of the greatest parts about a long term group, and shows some talent on the part of the DM to add this. Look forward to teaming up with you on our next one!!

A bit more combat this time, but it made sense. The real drive to the game was just how much the players were considered...for example, my character speaking Underdark common and reading runes, and Kyle (whom everybody else knew) coming to settle a score to Kron. A solid start to what looks to be an interesting campaign. Lots of creative custom scripts and haks added to the experience, and I know from experience that Dem will have lots of nice plot twists to throw at us as the campaign develops.

Although this was only an orientation game to prepare for a lengthy campaign, Demetrious and Dreamtheatre did an excellent job keeping things developing. The NPC's were first-rate, and the gap in our party was nicely filled by Dreamtheatre's rogue. I enjoyed the different personalities of the NPC's hoping to be selected for the mission, and the interaction with them felt as though there were several other players online just there to act those parts. The DM's did a great job organizing play and introducing the PC's into the game on an individual basis, adding to the realism. I'm really looking forward to next session!

Now I see why your name's always around, Dreamtheatre. Absolutely incredible, a nicely built town that stands on the edge of city and wilderness, merchants with as vibrant personalities as any other NPC, and not minding if the rest of us simply sit down and RP. Great game. I didn't quite get the "Use your wisdom to figure this out..." hint. As far as I can tell we weren't supposed to be able to stop the ceremony, only try to clean up the mess it made... and what a mess it is. A chaotic evil religious fanatic with a Balor summoning staff she can't control. It's like Al Kaida (sp?) with nukes. Should be interesting.

Amazing game as always. Its a real shame about the server lag. If you cant sort it I could host the game on my server. All that glitters is not gold, as was proved with Niavias gifts. How will the party survive with a chaotic evil sorceress and a lawful good paladin...

Just simply a great game. Extremly original. I have yet to see a game that purposely forces the players to split up due to roleplaying then betray each other. I still wish i new extactly what that dagger does. I guess i shall never know but thats probably a good thing.

I found the ability to "go with the flow" to be very well done. I felt a real tug on my heart as to which way to go when the group broke up.

I had a lot of fun playing this mod. The options in getting the dagger seem limited to killing someone very powerful or sneaking in and stealing it. Perhaps someone could also convice the guards to raid Kat's hideout and arrest him to get the dagger. Very good mod regardless. I had a great time. :D
[dreamtheatre's reply to comment: Acutally its up to the players how they wish to get the dagger...every group is different...if they can't come up with solutions on their own I will throw some ideas their way (Such as assassination requests) but it's up to you if you want to do that...every game is different...recovering the dagger is limited to the party's creativity...thats how the mod is set up...to do whatever you want! *Grins*]

Ok, first i want to say this is easily the best game i have played in. Im glad that its a 2 parter because i can not wait to see what happens. This game really pushes RP but to a great use.
I love the way that the npc's come alive. Its far better than i have seen in any previous game.
The module is very good and because of the twists in it and the other characters in the game im not sure how things will pan out for my character.
