The game was entirely devoted to RP and handled very well as such by the DMs. Providing good NPC interaction when it was wanted, but allowing the players to RP things out at their own pace. A very well managed and enjoyable game.

This is a seriously enjoyable campaign so far, a brilliant example of what can be done with the D20 engine. The background RP on organising the resources is engaging and the RP/fighting balance is well managed. Plenty of time to engage with NPCs and PCs alike, particularly in this session over the medical support. Great fun, pure and simple.

A really good showing for a first time DM in Rosie, abley supported by GW. The inevitable first session glitches in the module were quickly overcome. A fast and furious session kept us on our toes. I'm looking forward to when the pace slows down, and the characters have time to get to know one another a little better.

Being the new guy to the group, it was very nice to meet welcoming players and a DM. The game was great fun and the Star Wars setting was awesome. Our group got roughed up pretty bad at one point, but gulfwulf was able to recover quickly and keep the awesome experience going. Great game, and can't wait til next time!

A great trio of DMs! The NPCs were FULL of personality ... or something ;)
Quick to jump in when needed and easy to talk to!

Gulfwulf and Dellaster did a fine job of running this first session, and organising the players. The new additions to the Firefly module were also very well done and looked a lot better than the old original areas - obviously a lot of effort went into updating the module.
Great work guys! :)

My word, my word, my word... This session only re-affirmed my belief in GW and Purple's complete and utter awesomeness as DMs. Of course, the amazing group of players is always a plus, but the skill you two display in crafting those memorable moments is just incredible. What I loved most was the echoes of situations from the Star Wars films in-game; like approaching the droid facility (reminiscent of the Imperial Shuttle infiltration in Return of the Jedi). Just, simply, awesome.

Great session, a nice mix of plot and action. I was sad to see all our shiny new guardsmen die on their first encounter though. Rest in peace, Zheng. I think mine was Zheng.
It was a little strange that Captain Li went ahead alone nonchalantly with the dangerous path we'd had so far... but I guess he can take care of himself ;)

Well done. Nice work with the hag storyline to conveniently remove a retiring PC. Good responsiveness to our sudden plan requiring the cart. I especially like that you've solved the problem of how to have a large group of non-hostile enemies suddenly turn hostile after the dialogue. It used to be a big problem when they'd attack and we'd be stuck trying to talk.

Wow, oh wow, oh wow - what can I say? This game just gets better and better. Great non-player characters, great dialogue, great action (though there were one or two places where NPCs did seem a little tough perhaps). Most of all, at least from my position, the DMs try their hardest to give a great interactive game to all the players, and I certainly experienced one of the best series of events I ever have done in an NWN game today. I simply cannot find the words to express the praise I'd like to give you; and I'm not boot-licking, you two just really are the tops. Can't wait until next time.

Nice game, as always. I especially like how you let us agree in our own time to take the rulers' quest rather than forcing us into doing what you wanted.

Some would say the enemies were too hard, but I wouldn't. The only really mismatched battle was the PC's fault anyway; we should have RP'd a better way to fight rather than walking into an ambush. I'd keep the difficulty level where it is. :) May need to bump up the XP though for the enemy levels. With so many party members, summons, etc we get virtually nothing for a kill.

Great work with the NPC's. Really adds a lot to the experience when they have distinct personalities. Other small details like changes in music to suit the mood is what sets apart a great DM team like yourselves from the good ones. Looking forward to the week after next. Enjoy your easter break! This was a brilliantly executed session today. The DMs did a great job of handling the often-split party. I must give my thanks to the DM(s) dealing with my semi-solo antics sneaking about inside the garage; I had an absolute blast with that. My only quibble was that I (and I think one or two others echoed this) found I had a very low chance of hitting anything, despite my character being a fairly combat-oriented one with the appropriate feats etc. I think perhaps just a slightly overpowered AC on the enemies? Regardless, a marvelous game. You guys are the tops!

Good first session of a new campaign. Custom content looks great and added to the Star Wars atmosphere. The interiors did seem a little dark and could do with more lighting or giving the PC's some torches. The NPC's were interesting and well played. I was a little thrown after the first skirmish as it took a while to discover what had happened. But all in all great stuff. Cheers

This was a most enjoyable first session, and all around, a great introduction to the campaign. The NPCs I saw were excellently played with a lot of colour. I was a little uncertain as to balancing issues, particularly between the factions - characters starting with the republic do seem more powerful, but that arguably does make sense. Looking forward to what the campaign's future holds.

Once again I can say I played in the best games on this site, with the best group as well. It is a credit to you both that you can continue to come up with new, fresh, and enjoyable material. Game after game, session after session I am left wanting more. You kept the group together, focused on goals and left the dark vs light up to us while still making the game have a reason for both. I could write for days but you know and have heard this all. It is a pleasure.

As always, a wonderful job with the NPC's. This was a particularly RP-heavy session without any fights. Personally I'd prefer a little more action but it's hard to move this party along since there's so many of us and we all talk a lot. :) Some XP for RP'ing would be nice though since there wasn't any to be had from battles.

Another solid game, a lot of fun. It feels like it took us quite a while to actually get deeper into this dragon-marked stuff though. It was an interesting plot hook to start things off, but then I think it had to stay to the side just a little too long. not that the other sessions haven't been fun :)

A very interesting scenario thought it ended a bit abruptly - story worked out shorter than I expected. I think this was due in part to we jail birds all working together more or less.

Fun session overall. However, it was a bit frustrating that my weaponry was useless vs a couple of the major opponents. One was avoidable - fortunately, but the other was the main boss:(

Always difficult to get a group together at the start of an adventure but the DM's did an excellent job of bringing many diverse characters together. Excellent work with the NPC's.

This was an enjoyable session of the Dragon's Village. I felt the enemies were a bit too easy some of the time - with the exception of those capable of poisoning us; something that for me I find a little annoying in large quantities. However, the game was very well-ran, and the plot moves inexorably onwards towards Shihao's fortress in the northernmost reaches. I genuinely had a fun afternoon, and I am looking forward to the next session after Christmas. See you then!
[Gulfwulf's reply to comment: Yeah, well, I figured you guys could use a break. I'll remember this next session. :p]

I really enjoyed this game. I thought at times that the monsters we had to fight were a bit too high for the group, and the fact that we died alot proves that. I also feel the amount of treasure earned for what we did was not near enough. We often did not have the gold to by the needed supplies to survive, much less for better equiptment. That said, I beleive that the NPC's were wonderfully played, and were given lots of personality. This is what really made the game fun. I am looking forward to playing another game under these DM's.

Interesting session. A few minor quibbles such as enemy shooting thru walls a couple of times. DM's made a good effort to keep us involved even though we did break up a bit as the session progressed.

After such a big build up from last weeks game I felt this session was a bit disappointing. It was frustrating to have plans ignored so that glaring weaknesses in the fortresses defence were left unguarded. There was a lot of hassle with the npc's to get anything done so it began to feel like a farce. So by the time of the twist and the fortress being breached, I did not feel any tension or impact. Although there is no way we could have won the battle I think it would have been more satisfying to feel defeated by the superior numbers rather than a series of blunders which we had no control over.
On the positive the location and the horde did look fantastic and with a little tweaking it could feel like the battle of Helms Deep in LOTR there was also some great characters within the fort.

A fantastic looking location, although it was a bit confusing what purpose the whole wall and fortress served. I loved the way it has built up the next session, showing the players and giving them time to plan. Not something I have done in a NWN game before and really enjoyed it. It was like being in one of those old war films. Great stuff!

Great session. I loved how the DM allowed and encouraged the players to peform lots of out of engine actions. This meant they could complete their objective with stealth and guiles rather than a straight out battle.

Back on the other side of the fence again this week. You know the expression, the grass is always greener on the other side? Well it's not true. The side I'm on now is greener by far: I just had a ball. As always, the DMing from Gulfwulf was spot on, creating not just a good game, but also a laid-back and easy-going atmosphere in which to have fun; and that's paramount in my eyes to what a good DM should try and do. In fact, you've done so well, you're going up in the order of my top 5 list.

Well-done as always. This game was a bit heavy on the RP, but that's understandable with a very large number of players (have we ever all been there at once before?) who like to talk. :) Considering the lack of battle though there wasn't too much opportunity for XP, so could've been a bit more in the way of rewards for the RP'ing.

The party struggled a bit with the strength of the monsters, mainly due to the fact they are down to one fighter. But that does not detract from the quality of the game which was great as always.

The DM's didn't have much to do this session as the play was dominated by the introduction of a new character. But what they did do was spot on. I particularly liked the reuse of the Bullante.

I really enjoyed the RP we had this session. The players were fun and the DMs paitient. Most of my characters tend to rely heavily on RP over battle so it might slow down the progression of the module but the DMs and players were nice enough to wait it out. I guess i'll be makeing use of the forums whenever i can.
The design was great, i loved the hilly areas that didn't use the basic hills that you couldn't climb unless there was a slope from the tileset. You don't seem tomany of those. I can't really comment on NPCs since we've only seen one so i'm hopeing we'll come accross more as we progress.

The module itself was pretty impressive altho we did not see much of it the custem content was great.
As for the gameplay it seemed a little rough towards the end with the party not knowing where to go, i would suggest that at times like these the DM ushered the party along such as telling them enemies are closeing in to creat a sence of urgency within them. An enemy stronghold after all is NOT a place to lag around~
Aside from that tho it was a good game.

It was both a smaller group and a slower paced game than what I'm used to, but I haven't been playing in your game for very long and it usually takes me a while to get comfortable in a campaign that I'm new in.
The NPCs were well done, but the visuals were plainer than those I've seen in many other games. Despite this, it was still quite nice visually.
Maybe after I've been to more sessions I'll have more to say, but for the moment, you're doing well, just a very different style than what I'm used to.

There should be a "best in game" choice for DM's roleplaying. You two are the best when it comes to making the NPC's seem like real people. Keep it up. We love it.

The amount of gold, still does not cover the costs of potions and kits. We should at least get enough gold to handle basic expenses. At this point I'll die because I can't afford a healing kit or potion.
The creatures should be hard, but most we come up against my weapon has no effect. We can't advance in the plot if we are always running from the enemy.

Good session. The NPCs were brilliantly played, each exhibiting their own flavour. Widow Lu shrewd, Xiu innocent, Lady Jiang aloof, Sun the tax collector patronising and bad attempts at humor :) Some of the group have come to realise they share the mark. Interesting plot hook there and definitely want to know why.
Only crib about the session was that the pace was a bit slow. The ants were a bit too easy. Perhaps that's how they're meant to be. Have heard similar comments about the Yuan-ti. Maybe need to up the CR or add a few more baddies. I know you've probably read it, but maybe go over Felrazor's encounter guide once more? It's there in Lazybones' DM guide.
All in all I'd give the session a 7/10. Looking forward to next week :) Pleasure to be a part of the campaign.

I enjoyed the session. Was particularly impressed by the way you handled two female NPCs with distinctive personalities. Would have liked to see the Browl. Hopefully next time. As always, you've been patient with the players and I'd like to thank you for letting us immerse ourselves in our characters completely. Cheers.

Gets better each week. Not much fighting this time but that's good sometimes and having the battle with Lorit was fighting enough. But now one of our enemies are dead. Who will we come up against next? I just want to say I loved how you incorporated our posts and character backgrounds into the game. Very good session as always.

The Dragon's Village is just brilliant. We have a group of great roleplayers, and just as important, a fantastic DM who really lets us play our characters out and will always listen and try to work in our characters actions - I think the bit with the Browl was inspired :D

Excellently run. I really like the way you involve the characters fully in the module - allowing each to shine in their individual ways. A first-rate DM.

Good story, but the opponent levels need to be tweaked some. Most were way too easy but at the end we couldn't hit anything and all got killed. Need to find that nice balance where we're working hard throughout.

Very smooth switching between various NPC personas. Patient with new players. The IP address was posted when he said it would be, the server was up and running very smoothly, and the game ran on its schedule!

This one was a bit slow, but that's understandable being down a DM, having a new player to introduce, and one more that hadn't met any of the NPC's yet. I'm sure things will pick up again next week.
[Gulfwulf's reply to comment: Yeah, sorry about that. Hopefully I'll have my help next week and it'll be smoother.]

The first session of the Dragon's Village has gotten off to a perfect start. The DMs started us in seperate locations, and our first meetings and greetings were all fully roleplayed. The NPCs were well done, and the module itself was also very nice (though I know most of it was third-party). I am now really looking forward to next week, and whatever it brings. (And you get brownie points because it's an asian setting.)

Very fun game. As the newcomer I'm missing some of the necessary storyline so I'm just kind of "out for adventure" at the moment. Certainly some intriguing plotline I can see brewing, and once I know what's going on I'm sure my character will get personally invested quickly.

I have to say, I did enjoy the finale -- pity it's the end though. Oh, well. Nearing the end, it seemed to focus more and more on Edgar, and his development. I can't say I didn't enjoy being the main character nearer the end. Either way, a good way to end a long running campaign.

Good job guys I think you guys do an excellent job of jumping into NPC's. The game is starting a little slow but really that's not your fault more of a waiting for other players thing. Anyway I am having a good time and I can't wait to get in deeper.
Overall good job.
[Gulfwulf's reply to comment: Don't worry, it'll pick up in future sessions.]
