Hmm, although the DMs did not use profanity, there was quite a bit of sexual talk at the beginning. not my style, and i'd rather not see much (or any of if).

But the campaign was great. Good storyline, great new area, well thought out NPCs, interesting plot with corrupted gem (and corrupted Sesser). The DM client was still a little buggy with DM visibility.

What the DMs are doing really well is awarding XP for roleplaying, and it's very balanced too. I like how i get XP from online posts as well as for playing my character accurately. It's really, really encouraging b/c it makes me want to RP more and not just got out and kill stuff.

Again, great session, DMs. Keep up the good work.

Another great game run by our wonderful DMs. Good story, excellent side quests, and very, very good pacing. I enjoyed it immensely. What I loved about this sessions is how quickly and appropriately the plot moved forward. It worked really well. Thanks again!

Good DMing by these two players. Some minor problems with the interface, but that is more a problem with NWN 2 than the fault of these DM's.

Great game for the first session! DMs found the bugs they needed to work out. Good just getting the party together through story, letting us explore, make mistakes, and go in the wrong direction. XP was very well balanced, treasure was a little high, but no complaints here. Had a great time. Looking forward to the next session.

Really bloody fun. Interesting with several good twists. All the PC's got their say and an equal reward.

Fantastic surroundings, I love events based in snowy areas. Excellent NPC's, with note especially to a new race, The Frost Elves and a great plot with a number of alternative endings possible and a fine debut from a new DM...the only downside was the loot, it was way way too high for the challenge presented. Some pc's will be going back to starter level areas with nearly 100 grand and some very tasty magic items...Aside from that no complaints...

[fenixphire's reply to comment: I created the NPCs based on stated levels, which turned out to be quite lower then what they actually were. And the ECL of the players threw it ever further off. As for the loot...There was not enough gold dropped for each player to get that much, and the items were still appropriate for the PC levels. Also, I give loot for RP, not just H&S. I believe what they got was well earned in that regard.]

A great adventure in a non-traditional storyline. The DM's did very well in making the NPCs come alive, especially for my PC and the way things developed. I had an absolute blast in this game! Kudos to the builders, players, and the DM team for a VERY engaging story! - Swashy

A very nice event, especially considering all the additions and departures that took place. The DM managed to integrate it all nicely into the story.

Overall, very good adventure. Not that sure on the treasure, since I had to leave a little early from the adventure. Game was slow to start, but it wasn't because of the DM.

This game was a sort of transition to what comes comes next, which makes it quite difficult to review, so I'll give it a good one anyway :P :)

A very well run game, had the courage to let the players run the show and lead the evolution of the story. That involved building new areas and (from what I can tell) creating a whole story around our destination and our trip there.

Excellent work in bringing PnP to NWN!

Great game, a lot of fun had digging a hole of all things. A DM that makes that interestesting, well what can I say, 10's across the board..

03/26/06 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10
Outstanding, especially for a DM flying solo. This campaign only gets better as the players continue to fall deeper into their roles, and the DM is able to facilitate this with an involved plot line and NPCs. Top knotch!! Keep up the incredible work!

A great session, went very well. The players were not lead by their noses, but they still could figure out what to do. A lot of freedom for making choices and roleplaying in general, as always. Great use of skill rolls throughout the game, and great job with the custom items that were tightly integrated with the story. I really look forward to the next session!

Ok, I will be objective and explain my ratings. I enjoyed this event greatly, but unfortunately it was marred by one single annoyance: The Rakshasa. These creatures are overpowered and I feel it's addition has unbalanced what was a well thought out party. If it was well played I might change my opinion but it isn't,constantly criticising party members and dropping thinly vieled hints that the dm's weren't doing their job correctly. I hope the dm's will take this into account as I would hate to see a fine campaign spoiled by one pc. Thus the average fun rating. Everything else was great (the H and S made a logical and welcome change and was intelligently handled by the Dm's).

Fenixphire and Scalyface make a very good DM Duo it appears that they plan thier toryline well when integrating party chat with NPC chat. They certainly cover he basis and keep us guessing whats going to happen next. This particular session was 100% roleplay and no combat, at least not until the concluding execution at the end of the murder trial. I felt as if I played a role in a movie, and I'll do it again!

An excellent session, the situations really brought out some great roleplaying from the players. Loved all the little things the NPCs did, the details make the difference!

Outstanding work once again!

Outstanding DM co-ordination. Totally connected with the characters and the plot. Adjusted extemely well to player decisions and included all PCs in conversations and actions.

  Good game, but the plot lacked a bit of depth.Great rp and thrilling npc's though I wasn't convinced by the dragon,seemed a bit too..soft for a black. Minor trifles really, doesn't take away at all from the enjoyment;

01/29/06 7 7 10 10 7 10 9 4 10 7
This was a good game, if a little confusing at times. The server crash didn't help matters, neither did one of the players not rejoining afterwards. I feel that the good beginning was spoilt by a rushed and disjointed finish. Saying that it was a good experience overall and I recommend this Dm team..

The amount of planning and detail the DMs gave to their game had me amazed. Being new to NWN multiplayer, I was easily adapted into the game and given helpful hints when I had trouble. These are DMs I would recommend for anyone seeking a good and fun campaign with a great deal of pre-planning and careful attention to detail (especially details personalized to each PC). I simply loved the ride and hope to have many more to come. Great job, DMs!

I don't feel comfortable reviewing players from this session due to so little time with the party.

Great game! The NPC were very nicely played, the world and the NPC are stunning. I quest wasn't completely straight forward too; it had some twists and turns. My attempt at some constructive criticism: First, I think the characters should be walking 99% of the time. It didn't suit Lynn (an NPC) to run as much as she did. Second, the battles could have been more challenging and the enemies more unpredictable. Third, I prefer when modern concepts aren't used. Lynn's shopping habits felt a bit too contemporary. Such anachronisms could be avoided. Thanks for being such great DMs. Keep it up!

[fenixphire's reply to comment: Hmmm...It was stated that it was and RP event, not a H&S. We did have a few party deaths, so I am not sure why you would want it more difficult. As for the running, I guess Lynn could have walked, but it would have pushed the event to the 4.5-5 hour range. And women have always loved clothes, modern times or not. Sorry, but I just don't agree with you.]

Nice game, made a change to play alongside another drow. Shame about the cackhanded pvp at the end, but didn't spoil the fun...

[fenixphire's reply to comment: The PVP was not part of the event. That was something the players decided to do on their own and is not aproved of by the DMs unless EVEYONE involved in it OKs it BEFORE they do it.]

The game was really unique. It was nice to see a game that really truly centered around roleplaying, and not dungeon crawling. The NPC's were each unique, and the game was very well organized.

This was a great game, it was solved with out combat, perfectly suited for a bard of my standing. It will bring great dramatic discussion with Merigold and Thraggen.

The party was thankfully well suited to the amount of hack and slash in this game, hence I enjoyed the game overall. But encounters with NPCs also showed very believable non-combat DMing, so this DM team has a great potential!

My two favorite things about this (series of) games: first, maybe it's not quite a campaign but having regular events is still a good way to grow both as a character and as a group. Second, I loved the tailored rewards at the end. Everyone likes to feel special :-)

Bottom line: impatient for the next game!

Great game Scaly and Fenix. You did exactly what you set out to do, which was introduce new players to the TUP mod in an interesting way. I especially liked the time you gave us to RP at some moments, and it rarely felt boring.

One thing though. I really think the hostage plot has been overused a bit, I'd loved it even more if there was a better twist to it.

Cheers!

I think this was a great low lvl adventure. There was a lot of good RP, and I enjoyed just making my cha interact with the others. The DM's did a great job, players also the newcommers played well. The only not so good thing was the leave of two fighters before the end of game.

Very good introductory session to TUP, made me want to come back for more. Seamless play with experienced DMs in a solid world, overall a very enjoyable experience, even though I usually hate worlds who force you to eat (there is a limit to realism). I'm impressed by the way you managed such a large party.

I'll be on the lookout for more adventures in TUP, and more adventures with Scalyface and Fenixphire.

First I got sick during the game and had to drop ouit for a bit and I thank the GMs for letting me rejoin the game later. Once again I think the treasure was wack just not enough for what the party went though. The most trouble in the game seems to stem from the players themselves as they caqn't for some reason come together as a team. If the GMs could somehow help this all would be great save for the loot.

TuP has been having server difficulties lately. The basic plotline seems to come from the Baldur's Gate Computer game (the Iron Throne wants to take over the world). But it's nice and pretty good to be able to use higher level PCs in an event. Even though treasure and such like is avalable for PCs in TuP (especially at the higher levels), its nice to reward the Player's/PC's with item's/XP close to their level (or party level) at the end of the event. A round of appaulse for fhenixfire for her first event!!!
