This was a really fun session and was professionally DMed. All the DMs were very patient with the players and they helped to move the game along very well so we could finish up for the evening. I would definitely want to play another session with Fleet Street. Thanks for a great evening.

Fleet street pwns, plain and simple.
The game was a blast. Although the hakpack download was massive, it was well worth it for the great visual work the Fleet Street team has put together. Although we may have only been through less than 10 areas total for the entire game, the work that they did really made them 'come alive'.
The theme was excellent and original - pure survival, being left with nothing but one's wits. First time I've really felt compelled to use the HotU crafting system.
Also to be noted is their ability to compensate for screw-ups along the way. Sometimes things didn't go exactly as the DMs' had planned, but they compensated admirably without sacrificing the plot - something hard to find in a non-DMed game.

It is a grand service you and people like the Neverwinter University provide for this community by helping us green DMs learn to use the tools of our trade. The only thing I would've liked more would've been like a virtual DM/GM Academy, but designed a touch elaborately. That would be awesome! Like a PW, with sign up applications similar to ALFA or NWC. Those that aspire to great storytellers could be given the opportunity to instruct their own classes regularly or once and a while stop in as a guest speaker or lecturer. The potential is astonishing!

Had a great time in this game. The DM's did a fantastic job, allowing the PC's the freedom to move forward at their own pace and explore the island. The additions in the Hak's were first rate, and the plot was intriguing. Well done!

Excellent game. Always ready to imporvise when a character went off the beaten path. I loved how you didn't try to stiffle the flow but instead go with it to make a godd game awesome. Visual one of the best games I have ever played. And anytime a 5th lvl sorc can become a Fire god is good times to me. Kudos to all the Fleet Street gamers.

Had a blast. The FleetStreet gang lived up to my high expectations. Their reputation is, it seems, well-earned. The module was beautifully assembled and made mind-boggling use of custom tiles and other content; but not just for custom-content sake. It all served the story of the module.
Impressive use of visual and sound effects. NPCs felt alive and were not all cut from the same cloth. The plot was fairly basic, but presented in a refreshing way.
My only concern was with the balance of some of the encounters. Some of the later encounters (while looking for the Furious Iron) seemed a bit overmatched, considering our disposition. It's a shame we didn't finish as planned, but in the end, it was a great time. I look forward to finishing next week. I'm sorry Rowena won't be able to join us, but she did make a rather striking decision. Game on!

Great fun. I am glad to see the world getting bigger as we move about and get more involved in the game. I actually dreaded moving around in that temple. A strange smattering of creatures as well. Understandable, though. They are like the Yuan-ti of this world, keeping servants of lower ilk along with animal companions and a flare of magic with the undead. Great job. I can sorta see a

An enjoyable game--the DM's were very accomplished, maintaining multiple, good NPC dialogs simultaneously and doing a great job of managing combat. The story was good--my only complaint was that the combat was tougher than it needed to be. The players were told to be tactical, but given the number and toughness of the foes, I don't know how much better the party could have performed. Still, I had a very fun evening in Menhir plains and would definitely play with any of these DM's again.

Very good game. Combat heavy, but not without roleplaying opportunity. The plot was interesting and the adventure very challenging. DM's worked well together in multiple NPC areas to allow the individuals to have side conversations and also used multiple NPCs well in the combat sections. Very enjoyable. I'd game with these DMs again.

I did find the game a bit too hard. I know it was partly our fault for not using the right tactics, but the sudden reinforcement battalions charging in when we were all busted up from the last fight weren't a lot of help, either :).
I don't want combat do be too easy in a module, of course, but I guess it's just that I'm a bigger fan of drama and character interaction than combat. Still, the game was fun.

Creative use of bog-standard NWN sets and canned dialog! Its like taking a trip down memory lane to a time before we figured out how to run a game right ;) And that's not really a criticizm, it was actually fun in a meta-gaming kinda way. The characters are unusually odd, the interactions very enjoyable, the plot pretty much felt improvised at the last-minute yet pretty good(I actually appreciate this), and everything was very lightheared. Definitely different then usual. Good work!

Wondrous once again. High points: the Guardian Mech, the Nephilim all around on up to their leader, the bugwar, the setting for spreading out the action and allowing for some tension to build, and last but not least the gnome for some key interactions and plot forwardings. Low points: um, none I can think of, truly.

Great night - campaign is really beginning to pick up now that we've picked up the trail of the Uloo conflict. While level design once in the excavation site was inspired (loved tunneling under other passageways) the amount of area FX does tend to bog the system down a bit and make navigation, communication, and combat more difficult. it's the nature of the beast, for sure, but perhaps the ambience could be administered in a different way?

Thank you for including me into your game, Fleet Street guys! I love being in another part of one of your campaigns just based on my past experience. Your games always seem to attract some of the best players and make one of the best experiences on NWC in general for multiplaying. What I particularly liked about this session is some of the NPC roleplaying. Hope we can find a schedule that will allow us to finish the rest of this "one-shot". (Hey, now didn't Veil of Sky start out as a one-shot? Tee hee).

[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: Comments below for the Western game 'Showdown at Hart's End'. This was a prime example of us going out on a limb, and it working because the DMs and players were willing to work with us. Thanks to all for making it a great session.]

I really enjoyed the old west. The correct tilesets and weapons really made it seem like the game(NWN) was built for an Old west adventure. Great idea and I hope to see more of the old west through NWN. Talk about thinking out of the box. The fleeters used some of the modern mods that are coming out with some basic NWN data and really captured the old west! Awesome game, awesome idea!!!

Absolutely the best multi-player mod I have been a part of. A real treat to play with DM's that don't overtly enforce their will on the characters, while still establishing control, a sense of direction and an environment open to great improvisation.

Wonderful, wonderful fun! I have always wanted to play a game set in the old west and these guys delivered. With more fleshing out of the world, I could see great treks through the deserts of the West, into the mountains of Colorado and maybe even to the big cities of the West! Excellent work! Hope to play a game like this again and flesh out the character I played here!

The game was a little slow in getting up and running due to it's different nature (Old West), but once it got rolling it was a great ride.
There were minor glitches with some items, and there wasn't a lot of information regarding how to translate skills or feats to the world (Will

A western themed NWN game you say? Guns and all you say? Yes and it was great. I loved every min of it. Never heavy handed. You let us play the game and then just followed along. The gun fights were awesome. It adds a whole new way to play when every one is a shooter. The music! Oh the music. It set the mood, made me feel like being daring and most of all a dusty old cowboy gun slinger. I could go on for hrs about this game but I have said enough. Awesome.

Fareaking awesome. And not just because this was my first succesful experience in a real dm'd, real roleplayed, online multiplayer game. Smooth as could be, kept us moving without pulling us along by the nose, pacing seemed just right for an interactive story. Plenty of roleplay AND lotsa fun action to mix it up. Great scenes acted out, heart starting combat with plausible sources of danger and intrigue all around.... Man I wanna grow up to be able to help make a jammin session happen like these guys did someday.

What more can I say then wow? From the start this game was great. From time spent filling forms, to the long trek up the mountain, under heavy goblin fire, this game never got boring. Great job!
[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: These comments (above, and next three) for Slare's "Rurikid Empire" Prelude. Anything good in these games should be attributed to Slare -- I can't rate him since I was a co-DM, but he's done a fantastic job with this game.]

great game!
i gave a moderate 'challenge' score only because we died so many times...but in reality, that was due to the naivety and urgency of some of our party. with proper tactics and well thought-out skirmishes, we probably wouldn't have used so many kits. also, i'm still not completely sold on using kits to raise/heal past negative HP. some people just deserve to die for their stupid actions, you know?
atmosphere and NPCs were wonderful. plot and characters were complex and made the game rewarding to explore.
i can't wait for the next opportunity to be a part of a FS campaign - especially a multiple session campaign!
thanks for a great game!

Absolutely fantastic! Fleet Street rocked for this game! The NPC's were living, breathing people and the plot had more good twists than a bag full of pretzels. Slare, Old Scratch, and Sweeney Todd DMed the best game I have played in NWN multiplayer thus far. Nice work, folks!

Great game again - its too bad that ST had to be an observer for the most part, because he missed out on Twoflower and Duncan in top form. Everything went smoothly, and the tension was perfect where it needed to be. Nothing felt force, and nothing felt out of place. As usual for ANY Fleet Street game, the NPCs were unrivaled in NWN. Thanks!
[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: I'm sure 2f and Duncan were tired of me rattling off suggestions all through the game... pretty much the only way I could interact with anyone was through Roger Wilco. But I did see enough to realize they did a damn good job. ]

Thanks, Twoflower, SweeneyTodd, and OldScratch! This is probably the first game I participated in which had only one fight, but I didn't mind at all. I had a lot of fun and I think the one combat we had took us all by surprise. My favorite parts were probably the custom music during the prologue dream sequence and Anden's weird dream. Although, I like my dream, too, but I sense some of you were a little disappointed in my reactions? As always, I enjoy this group very much. Each game appears to be unique, full of surprises and twists. See you again in two weeks! Although Garnak and I appear to be rotating places. =)

A Fleet Street game with almost no fighting! Not that I'm complaining of course, this was an excellent session as always. It seems culture shock knows no bounds...
[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: and that one fight was my idea (itchy trigger finger, don't you know). i think we actually would have been fine without it, but i think it helped 'flesh out' the Strangler Cult idea a bit more.]

5 DMs could at times be overwhelming due to having so many NPCs chatting at once. In a crowded tavern this can really make your head spin. Great NPCs though just hard to really appreciate each and every one of them when they're all talking at once.
The plot started out a tad cliched (good guy turns out to be bad guy *gasp!*) but got more interesting and unique as it went on.
Challenging but by no means too hard. At one point when the going was getting rough, some heal kits -- dozens of the dang things -- kind of mysteriously appeared in some barrels. Probably not totally necessary. 3 would have been nice, but 50 of them was making things a bit too easy on us. Let some PCs (gee, I wonder which ones?) drop dead to teach them a lesson; a little suffering might help keep us in line. "Shucks, we are out of heal kits and it will take some time to find more. You'll have lie there holding your guts in for 5 minutes or so while we find more. Guess you might not want to charge into the middle of a room full of monsters next time..." ;)
[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: Downside of so many DMs... occasionally several tried to 'help' the party at once. Honestly that may have been due to us getting as fatigued as you folks :)
Thanks for the detailed comments.]

VoS was beautifully designed and executed to near perfection. Of course, this is always expected with Duncan and ST, so it makes any kind of review somewhat tempered. I guess that's what happens when the bar is set immesurably high ;) THe layouts were logical and impressive, the toolset was used to recreate teh theme perfectly. I gasped a few times at the scenery and music.
The Plot was great, and wonderfully freeform (or at least had that feel). As usual the NPCs were teriffic, and kudos to you guys for really mirroring true Bedouin cultural ideas. You handled the few problems we had very smoothly, and it detracted virtually nothing from a wonderful game.
Once again, you guys make Fleet Street the class of NWN.
[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: Much obliged :) I'd actually like to make this series of games _more_ free form -- I think it's just fun to explore the setting, characters, and premise.]

Excellent job running this game! And man did you guys have patience with us. It was insane how many problems we had. There were even more problems than I think you were aware of! It was unfortunate we had so many computer related issues because the individual it happened to is one that does not believe that roleplaying can be that good in NWN :). As to a critque of the game... My only problems were that a) No NPC interaction for 3 hours of the game. b) At the end I could not quite understand why the antagonist had done what he had done. However, the majority of it was outstanding. The beginning was one of the best intros I have ever seen! You guys do get my Top 5 vote. ~ Rizzen
[SweeneyTodd's reply to comment: I tend to agree that being able to converse with more NPCs would be good... but we haven't yet thought of a way for it to work under those circumstances. Thanks for the kind words. ]

My first Fleet Street Game and I surely hope not my last. The guys were very helpful. I like how you try to experiment with various aspects of the engine: add a cutscene, add custom music, etc. I also like some of your custom items, although, I think you misspelled Regan's name on her chainmail on purpose. ;P Hehe. I was not expecting some of my backstory to be used in some of the items you gave me, so thank you! I hope to see you both again in two weeks!

God's in the detail. So much cool stuff, such a ... responsive world. Like the NPC interaction (the kobold with the story, Rego on the boat), our crazy plans (drugging the swamp beast), "mom" dealing with the altar, the challenging fights, and then, at the end, all of us getting totally screwed by a slight cultural misunderstanding... Nifty. :)

I was really delighted that i could play in this game as i'd heard so much good about these guys and i wasn't disappointed. The only gripe I had was that alot of the roleplaying past me by as the other players obviously knew the world and the background and no one took the time to explain things despite me asking IC a couple of times but they promised to address this if I play in future so I'm more than happy. Top marks.

This was my first Fleet Street game but hopefully not my last. I always enjoy it when I come across some DMs who enjoy my particular sense of humour and can play off the ideas the players present in game. (ie: the idols, the baths, getting Squeek on the pay roll).
You guys seem to be very balanced between roleplying and combat, which is exactly what I like. Plenty of NPCs to interact with but also some very good fights. Nice use of doors to block certain areas through the module. I liked the orc champion jumping off a ledge, the spiders jumping down, and the ancient undead jumping down. All nice touches.
Special thanks to OldScratch for making me go with a druid. By integrating the swashbuckler personality I was thinking of with the druid class I came up with a very interesting character that was fun to play. My previous attempts at RPing druids never were that fun to play because I just can't RP a serious character. Being serious drives me nuts.
My favorite dialog moment was when the Safridite wench started talking me up about

Hey all, the fleet-street crew really is something special. You have a great ability to let the player decide his fate, or feel like they do,anyway. I realize the hardest thing to do is to get a party moving in the direction of the plot, especially with Pandy around, but you all let us RP until, we decided what would be right for us to move toward. I don't know if that is frustrating for you, or not, but I enjoyed the ambiguity for the most part. I suppose, I could have just paid for some lovin and moved the plot, but my CG self couldn't come off the gold. Anywho, a great time and many opportunity for RP and action....I've got to get back in a campaign of yours.

This was one of the best one shot games I have ever played. The DMs created NPC interactions that fostered a sense of a vibrant and living world, full of all too human NPCs, high drama and humor. At every point--from the opening tavern scene onward through exploration and the well-designed combats--it was so interesting that I did not want it to end.
The DMs were impressive as NPCs and very smooth throughout, with fine pacing for a very full night. The mod was technically strong as well, with good design, as well as excellent use of haks and custom music to set the mood.
For a maiden voyage of a new campaign mod and a new group a players, it was an amazing evening. Thank you!

First of all, I enjoyed the players and the game as a whole.
Some contructive criticisms:
The party had a diverse alignment and if you are going to allow that you need to support those personalities. With 4 DMs this should not be a difficult task.
The tavern scene was way too chaotic for my monk, so there could have been more options in town. As long as it's a noncombat zone, I should have been able to find something else interesting to do.
In the sewers, there could have been a better option for my large PC to get around the gate.
I know these seem picky, but IMO, distracted from the ability to roleplay my character to the fullest.
All in all an enjoyable eve, I would like to play again with that group, the internal RP was fun.

Hah! An extremely original take on an overused theme - and I ain't gonna tell you more than that so as not to ruin the surprise in case any of you readers get lucky enough to play it. Very well developed for an initial run mod, and the DM team did a great job in going with (often, I am sure, unexpected) party discussions and actions. Absolutely hilarious at times.

Design was "Very good, very good". Game seemed VERY organised, which I like. Although it didn't keep you on "one path" either. A good mix of intensive parts with more slower ones.
Just a minor thing: There were once in the game where spawning of enemies "directly"(I don't know really how direct it was but I remember it as fast) after area transitions. (the one with....some vermin...when going down). It felt okay at that time. Though I have been in some games where it is far more worse. I just wanted to point this out so you can remember this in future. =).

Another master performance by the master DM's. Many emotions ran through this session, and it was a challenge to roleplay well with all that was being thrown at us, but it was very enjoyable. Sometimes it was unclear what all the choices were, but I guess that was part of the point. I thoroughly enjoyed all we had to go through though, and I look forward to see how it turns out. Thanks.

Mad interactive storytelling skills (love the "Scenes" and the narration); twists on twists within a genre (sense of humour doesn't spoil the mood, quite the reverse); amazing NPC work; combat is too cool (creatures who get back up unless killed properly? wheee!); every important item has a history; the world is real. You guys just make me a happy, happy player.

We dropped this adventure in SweeneyTodd`s lap just a few hours before the game. He completely improved the entire event and brought a thoughtful and gripping story line together. For the amount of prep time given to him, he could not have brought together a better game. - Rizzen (Site Owner)

Great design! I'm not fond of huge downloads but the HAK had some really nice stuff in it. I also really liked the way the DMs handled scene changes. I hadn't seen anything like that before so I was a bit confused the first time. Wonderful handling of NPCs, except for a couple minor glitches. The party scene at the beginning was expecially good as the |
