Rust, he says. Away from the game for a while, he says. Nuts I say! Things went very very smoothly. No snags of any sort (atleast none that I noticed). The NPCs were terrific. Loved the dwarven cook and the drunk. The encounters were fair and fun. All in all, a very fun game.

I had a great time! It was fun and fast paced, the few times the players stalled a bit the DM helped motivate in game. When one of the players did something unexpected, DM rolled with it perfectly. NPC's seemed like multiple players, DM played off perfectly.

Wonderful! A perfect example of how to get a player (me) hooked on DM-run games. :)

NPCs were astonding, very great dialogue and responded to questions excellently.

Didn't react well to actions (ie. when barricading the door or moving the body outside, nothing happened).

A few parts in the story weren't explained, ie. the lightning bolt at the beginning? Or the flash the body made in the tower?

I liked the fairly unique setting chosen for this module. I thought the roll checks were responded to well. The NPC's were interesting. And I liked how the DM's through their NPC's interacted with the players (instead of just NPC's spouting forth plot exposition). A good well-run one-shot.

A great session by these two DMs. A shout out to Dungajin, too, for the module design. Playing a group of half-orcs, any given group of players could take this in any number of ways. These DMs did a great job of keeping up with the players and providing information and color via the NPCs. The module was perfectly balanced, and we received decent treasure and great XP for our actions. I hope to play in more of these sessions!

This was a great one-shot mod for our first adventure together. A good balance of RP and action, and the DM's made the NPC's entirely entertaining. Well done.

Well done, I hope this becomes a regular weekly event.

A fun game to ring in the new year with :)

Puzzling, horror-inspired, great NPCing, good scaling of monsters, and the list goes on... the marks of a good DM.. hope to play with you again :)

For my first game on NWC I have to say that this was an excellent experience. This is THE way to play NWN online: DMed and with a party. I was very happy with the game despite a few bugs that popped up (they were all our fault anyway :) ). Definitely looking forward to playing much more NWN in the future and I would, without a doubt, play with Ochobee again.

Great game!

The game was great, the Ochobee handled all the problems, and even supplied reasons for not being able to rest, and such. I had a GREAT time, no real disruptions in the game at all, I would definately do it again.

A very fun way to start my first game at nwc. The atmosphere was tense and it was easy to get into. Im looking forward to more games now :)

My first game ever. The introduction through the DM, timing of monsters fitt the bill for me. Puzzles were very challeging. Also the puzzles which involved hack and slash were a nice twist. I found the group a bit to big though but probably required for the module. Result for me is that I felt as though we were not a team but this had nothing to do with the DM. For my part that had to do with the unfamiliarity of the NWN game engine (pushing a lot of wrong buttons) combined with the language (English not my native tongue) and action (lots of distractions). At some points it was unclear for me who was doing what. I will certainly need some more experience in this. Overall I enjoyed the rp we had at some instances the most. But difficult to stay ic.

Fun adventure, very adaptable to player groups. This was a good first time one shot adventure, I wish I could find a regular gaming group like this, towards the end of the module, the players began to work together more, I think in part due to the DM and situations we found ourselves in.

very well DMed, no problems whatsoever, and the story and plot flowed very nicely. We got stuck in one point in the game, the DM was quick to respond.

  Fantastic Game!

It's been nearly a year since I've played NWN and it just reminds me why I love gaming through NWC. Great adventure, top notch DMing and fantastic rollplaying. Thanks for a great time.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself in this game. the DM was great and the players were awesome.

Excellent game, very fun mod. I was completely absorbed, and loved the nonlinear twists. The action was great, but certainly seemed to suck away our healing potions fast.... The puzzles were challenging too, though it must have been horrible to watch us slaughter ourselves on the you-know-what (spoiler deleted for those that haven't played the mod yet). That halfling appeared just in time! The role playing via keyboard is a bit to get used to, but I'll work on it.... Well-balanced and cooperative party, with great characters. Can't wait to play again!

He let us rest when we could secure a room and came up with a reason why we should. The treasure could have been a bit better, but I think that was mainly out of his hands, especially since we did not open the sarcophagi. He was excellent at give us a well deserved prod when we needed it in the form of several zombies. It was so seemless I'm still not totally sure if the zombies were supposed to be coming or not. Overall great game, I'd join one of his games in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, I have little to compare the game to, as this was my first online NWN game. The best way I can possibly sum it up, then, is to say that I'll definitely be back for more, especially more games with this DM.

02/06/04 9 10 10 9 10 9 9 8 9 9
Ochobee was an awesome DM. This was only my second NWC game and I enjoyed it more than the other one. Perfect balance of combat and dialogue. I had technical problems with my character, and he was able to roll with it even though it put me two levels above everyone else. Also, he was quick to respond when I sent him DM messages. Can't wait to play in more of his games.

I really enjoyed this quick one shot adventure. The mod was great and Ochobee ran it perfectly as the DM. The NPCs were well performed and he used the monsters tactically. Perfectly paced for a 3hour game. At times I worried that we too should have waited for

This was my first NWC experience, and I really enjoyed it. Ochobee played each NPC well, and kept the game flowing smoothly. We had one or two stalls while the DMs got organized, but we filled these in with role-playing, so it was fine.

It was a excellent game. I had fun even if it was my first time ever in multiplay. Got me hooked to the concept now.

A fun one shot adventure. Nice to play a game that does not last all evening every once in a while.

I liked the bleeding system except the ease it is to restore fallen comrades. The ending battle had at least 5-6 players that had "fallen" but were restored rather easily. The bleeding system would be great (to me) with a more difficult healing scheme.

The plot was enjoyable, but nothing grand.

The DM did a great job overall.

Great game. Lots of puzzle solving, but mostly the strategizing and the party dynamics. We hated each other's guts but we were indispensable to each other. The DM intervened just enough to keep the module on track.

Great alla round, the bleeding system helped, and the perma-death was no big deal, you just have to be tough :P. I switched to a lwful evil cleric last moment, and it ran smoothly (course, with out the cleric i think it would have been a world of hurt). Basicly this was one of the best nwn games ever in the history of the universe...ok, it was rewal fun, and the gm was good, the other players were all wonderful, and I was evil. What more canyou ask for

Ochobee was an excellent DM in a type of game I haven't really played before, with more tricks and traps, a fair bit of fighting and good RP with out group. The lack of NPCs for Ochobee to control was a shame at times, though all battles were executed well and fairly. The concept of permanent death also introduced a greater fear and urgency to the game, though our party supported each other well and it never came to that. All in all a very good game, well done.

A great game! I enjoyed to roll various checks and to think outside-the-engine! Good use of sound and sometimes I couldn't believe that you did this all alone! Great DMing! Thanks to Ochobee for this One-Shot. Hope to see more of them ;)

This game was great fun. Ochobee got us roleplaying with some great NPC interaction right at the beginning and set the theme for the whole session. I was surprised how effective his NPC to NPC conversations were considering there was only one of him. The best moments were definately in the deserted inn, where Ochobee managed to make the game genuinely disquiting. On a technical front we had a few problems with his router near the beginning of the game, but these were resolved very quickly, and after that everything ran smoothly (no lag). The game over ran by a good 90 minutes, but this was due to the huge amount of player interaction - everyone roleplayed to the hilt. Overall I loved this game, and will look out for more games by Ochobee. I've added him to my top 5 DM list.

The adventure was very enjoyable. The fights were tough, but nothing we couldn't deal with one way or another -- but it took some quick thinking sometimes.

You moved us along well. Sometimes we got a little bogged down, and you'd give us a little nudge in the right direction.

Good use of sound effects, too -- very atmospheric.

All in all, well done!

For my first game on NWC I had a lot of fun and look forward to runing into these players again . The DM nudged us when we lagged behind and made some of the monster encounters a lot of fun to just run from. haha It was a good time I think for us all . Thank you.

Great time. Good atmostphere, great interaction by Ochobee, the DM, to really get everyone into it. Everyone had a blast. Thanks to Ochobee for doing a great job DMing and to Lazybones for another great mod. Very fun.

Although it was a simple and straightforward adventure, it was one of the most enjoyable I have played suprisingly. We managed to complete it in time and keep both us and the DM entertained.

Ochobee ran Lazybone's Team Challenge mod and did a great job getting us started and organized. This was a team hack and slash mod so there wasn't a lot of NPC roleplay, but Ochobee made everything work smoothly. Game was a blast, thanks!

This was a wonderful game, granted there was a little trouble involving the DM forgetting to press the invisibility button but all in all a very fine game for being run by a single DM and the module being meant for a single player. I enjoyed it and had fun RPing with everyone involved... granted I may have tried hogging the spotlight a little too often >.<

10/28/03 9 10 10 10 10 10 10 9 9 10
My oh my, this was fun. The DM was obviously into the game, too; it didn't seem like it was a drudgery to do it for him. He had fun and it rubbed off on us. The mod itself was wonderful, but he really brought it to life.

10/28/03 6 7 9 5 8 7 7 3 6 6
The game was alot of fun. I like the stratagy and player vs player. I would like to have played with eight players to the end. There were a few bugs that need working out but overall a good game.

Very nice game, very nice, good choice of a module and all that. Played the NPC rather well too. I'd likely play under this DM again in the future though I imagine there is more to come in this module, we were only just getting started afterall.

Full points for perseverence, Ochobee! And I'm glad, because this was balls of fun once the curse lifted (no shows, module suddenly playing funny b***ers). Really fairly set up, and very fun, encouraging atmosphere! I'm going away to write a rematch right now ...

Slow start due to what we beielve is time change, a brief server issue and a game glitch. The DM was very responsive in filling in holes and progressing the Team Challenge. Loved my team, they where awesome and we stayed focues on the objective which help us take it in the end despite being underpowered in PvP.

Game was not played evidently because of server problems. Host should have communicated better with the players rather than leaving us hanging.

The DM played the NPCs well, giving a completely different feel to the master wizard versus the halfling for example. However, it would have been *even better* if he could type a little faster! Perhaps he could try pre-filling several of his hot keys with text that he anticipates is likely to come up.

Had a fun time in the game last night. NPC were nicely done. Also, nice touch with the strange voices in the shrine!!

Since this is my first game, I don't have anything to compare it again. But I felt comfortable playing, even though I was a total noob, and I have a very fun time. I didn't want it to end when it did :) Thanks, Ochobee!

07/31/03 7 8 10 8 8 9 7 5 7 8
Well done Ochobee, and thanks for having me. This was a very good experience for a first multiplayer game, with a good amount of role-playing, puzzles, and combat.

Some minor technical difficulties at the beginning were overcome by the DM.

07/31/03 8 6 8 8 7 8 8 5 8 7
Well it was too bad we had so many bugs.

The game went well overall, but it was hard to really get in rhythm with the lags, and bugs, and players logging in and out.

You did well to keep it running. You and the mod show potential, and the story was likeable, I hope to play it again, bug free.

Great DM, Good Module.. Couple of Technical snaf-fu's. no ones fault.. just one of those things. DM did a fantastic job playing the NPCS and kept the roleplaying interesting and fun. Wish he would have given some experience for roleplaying.

07/25/03 5 8 8 9 10 8 7 10 8 8
Played NPCs well, threw in some ad hoc encounters. G-R-E-E-D scared the crap out of me.

Ochobee did a great job DMing LB's Shrine of Eth'Barat mod. The game setup was organized, we got started relatively quickly, the NPCs were infrequent but very nicely done and seamlessly handled, and the game was a lot of fun. I found the mod itself to be more of a dungeon romp, but we had a great RP-oriented group and faced some interesting tactical challenges. Ochobee DMd this with a deft touch. I was impressed.

07/23/03 10 10 10 8 10 9 9 10 9 9
Good run of one of Lazybones' one shot modules. Game was well organized, everything flowed. It was a very good choice for a module.

DM made good use of some improvised NPCs and made GREAT use of the FX wand and Voice wand to enhance the module.

The "whispered voices in our head" were just right.

The only room for improvement might be to do some scene descriptions when players enter rooms. (ie: The stale air escapes from the room when you open the door, etc)

And I'd love to have more NPCs and roleplaying. But that's just me. You did a really good job of adding more RP to the game on the fly :)

07/23/03 9 10 10 9 10 10 8 8 9 10
Great game, great DM. As a first timer, I had worries, but it all went smoothly with a great bunch of people and a great adventure that kept me glued to my computer waiting to find out what happened next.

I had a great time playing the game. It was my first game and although I have not played other DM'd games before, I think you did a great job at your first attempt. Keep up the good work. I think it was great for you to realize that the team needed some hinting in the library. Hehe. Not trying to defend the team, but I think it was kind of late for brain teasers but thats no fault of any of us. Hope to play more games with you in the future. Great mentoring job too. Your input and quick responses really help me out alot.

07/09/03 8 7 5 7 10 9 9 7 9 10
Objectivity: The reason why I left it at 0 is we didn't have one problem with any of the characters that made the DM pick a side or anything.

The Module itself was great. There were a few things about it that could have been changed, like a room for out PCs to change in at the Inn (my PC had to hide behind a dresser so he could change). I don't blame the DM for this because he didn't build the MOD.

The game was late to start, but that's because the DM was behind a router. He could have tested it to make sure that people could join him before hand, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The game was only late by a few mins anyways.

I had a lot of fun in this adventure! The DM roleplayed all of the NPCs very well. There were a few confusing loose ends and a bit of server problems at first, but fun was had by all. Good Show!
